I had to leave Mass today as the priest spoke about mother earth and all creation. I felt like vomiting. I left and went to a different Mass where the priests worship God instead of His creation. The Irish priests need a lot of prayer for their conversion

Lots of paganism inside the Catholic Church. Did you know that Catholicism was not founded by Jesus and the apostles?

Praying is of no use because these priests, bishops and even the Pope know the Scriptures very well but they do not pursue God's agenda. Satan is a perfect imitator of so-called religious piety and it is through his seductions that he ensnares souls to drag them with him into Gehenna. You cannot purify a rotting apple, even if you pray for it to become pure again.

30 years ago, just after God miraculously healed me of a malignant brain tumor and after He also (miraculously) sent us our baby Maria (named after His Mother), we asked for 3 years what he wanted us to do for Him. Then He spoke to our hearts and we began giving homes to children nobody wanted. That has been our life’s mission. I think we’re done adding children, but we stand at 10 children ages 32 (Maria) to 4 years old. God’s timing was perfect.
Amen to waiting patiently for ‘Thy will be done’!

So true!! Whenever I ask something of the Lord, I always remind myself 'thy Will be done', then never try to 'force' it to happen, although I will continue to pray. Then if a roadblock presents itself - that's my answer: it's not to be. Just last Tuesday I went to my first "Catechism for Adults" at the only Catholic Church nearby.
DUDE! Was I stressed beforehand. Weird anxiety if the priest would ask me "SO! Why do you want to be Catholic, and why should we accept you?" - a sort of mixture of "first day at school" and "first job interview". Fortunately, he seemed very open to receiving anyone who showed up.
Now I'm more concerned with that "Catechism for adults" is only on Tuessday afternoons. And for Sunday Mass, I should probably ask the priest if there's an afternoon service on Sundays, because every sixth Sunday I work morning shifts...

When you can't go to the Sunday mass, go to the Saturday evening mass instead, it is a vigil mass for Sunday, same readings ...

The weekends where I'm working early on Sundays are also the weekends when I'm working late on Saturdays (so, it's Saturday 1430-2200, Sunday 0700-1500), so unless there are more times available, I suppose I just have to go cry to priest or boss.
However, understandably, nobody wants to work Sundays. Least popular shifts are Sunday early shifts. If you have a family, you want to spend your weekends with them; if you don't have family, you probably want to spend them being hungover and sleeping until 1400 (and if you have something better to do Sunday mornings than either spending time with family or regretting your intake last night(, you almost certainly don't want to give it up...)
But I'm feeling confident now, there is some available "workaround". Either an afternoon service on Sunday, or the priest or bishop saying "well. okay... one time out of six isn't so bad, provided you actually show up the other five times).

Finish Saturday 22pm start Sunday 7am, not nice, I hope you don't have a long commute.
The commandment is to keep holy the Lord's day. This is from God and cannot be modified.
Going to mass and refraining from servile work are church commandments and can be modified if there are serious raisons (risk of getting fired from your job, your economic situation, looking after a sick or elderly relative ... ...).
You already mentioned the solutions:
- find a mass after your shift, if possible.
- talk to a priest, he can give you a verbal dispensation, putting your conscience at peace. If you really can't take the time off, then it is not a sin.
To keep holy the Lord's day:
Watch a recording of the mass online, making a spiritual communion.
Read, online, the liturgical readings, including the psalms, homily or meditation for the day ...
Most of all, don't worry about it, God sees the heart.

Thank you for this video Father. I've been anxious about finding the "right" job because I'm a little picky. I don't want to work in childcare after about a year, my barely parttime job pays below the poverty level, and there's been gentle pressure from my parents to get a sufficient, 40-hour a week job like the rest. I have a civil service exam this Saturday for being a typist, but as I'm practicing, sometimes I get this crushing musing, "Will I succeed? Is this really the job I want?"
Not to mention that I'm university-graduated as of 2021 so I'm like, "What do I have to show for the number of years I've been here? Sure I help out a lot at home, I recently got a car, and I have other skills, I just want some guidance!" Like either an inkling or God smacking me on the head with a divine 2x4.

I'm really struggling right now with so much worry 😟 I'm worried about our church with the upcoming synod, and I'm worried about the future of my country. I'm saying the surrender prayer a lot, but the worry creeps back in throughout the day when I hear something. Like yesterday on Fox news, Dennis Quaid was on there talking about a documentary coming out that he's involved with, it's all about the possibility of our power grid going out in the event of a solar flare or something called an EMP? It would be catastrophic 😢I just want to be in God's peace, but how when so much is falling apart around us. I'm trying to surrender everything to Jesus and our Blessed Mother 🙏
Well that is going to happen and you should prepare as much as you can. What do you do for food if there's no electricity? You need to start figuring these things out
Yes, I understand! But I have placed all these worries in Jesus' Sacred Hands. I truly believe we will be saved by God through the power of prayer. God's eyes are never closed and he hears the cry of the poor. As Peter walked on water to Jesus, his fear and anxiety caused him to sink. But he was saved by Jesus when he called out to Him for help. Don't worry! Pray and say Jesus, I trust in YOU!!! 🙏❤

My husband has been talking about stuff like this and an EMP event for many years now...and Canadian Prepper 🇨🇦 really helps to fuel this fire...I used to be curious about my husband's apocalyptic dreams/visions, until he surprised me this year and told me one of those gory and yucky dreams he has been keeping to himself...I learned my lesson and will not ask to know details about these things anymore...;)
And this doesn't mean that none of it will happen, or that I am sticking my head in the sand about it...but I'm not ready to hear all the gross and scary details about it either...😊

On thing I realized (as my daughter also is discerning) is that marriage often has maybe as little as 6 months engagement before the wedding, the religious life requires as much as 6 years engagement period-affiliate, postulant, novice, first vows, etc. Lots of time before the final commitment.
@@christygarcia4843 Yes, it takes time. I actually don't have an issue with commiting, I'd actually loved to be 'there' already (though I have in mind/am discerning other different vocation than those two you mentioned). It's just the whole process, but also a lot formation, it feels a bit like climbing a mountain to get to 'there.' 🧗♀️😪 And I also feel anxious I wouldn't be approved; perhaps irrationally (because if it's from God then it will be so), but an emotional anxiety is there regardless (one doesn't discern alone and approves the vocation on their own alone). It just feels so complicated.😪 I feel it's like you're engaged or promised to be married but you're still waiting for the wedding and you don't know when and how, and there's the whole complicated process you need to actually get there, and you're not exactly sure how because you only see what's one tiny step in front of you, not the whole road, and it's also dependent on other people than yourself (e.g. the Bishop). Sorry if that's too much complaining or too much personal information, it just feels like a lot...

It's so funny that you mention this, because once, I took 7 yrs to discern whether to get married. I decided "No". The next time, I made up my mind to go ahead and get married in about two weeks. That turned out to be a " No ".
I don't think I'm very good at discerning or making decisions, because the last time I decided " I'd rather be dead " than to get married, is when I ended up married!
