Ever since Rain Code I feel like any twist is on the table when it comes to Kodaka’s stories. (Rain Code Spoilers)
I mean gaslighting the audience into thinking pink blood isn’t weird by normalizing it in 4 games and half of an anime just to make it a major plot point for Rain Code made for a pretty decent twist.
This looks like Danganronpa. I know the creators of this game made Danganronpa, but it just looks so cool. I’m excited!

Dude i dont think this is a mistery game from the looks of it, it seems like a fire emblem game (turn based rpg) rain code is a mistery game made by the same creators, even danganronpa, but sadly this doesn't look like it (gameplay wise at least) if you wanna try a nice mistery game they announced ace attorney investigations

With how Takumi is constantly mentioning that he had a "normal, ordinary life that never changed" and how "everything he knew is falling apart", I'm hoping there's an ending that has him go down a descent because he couldn't handle any more change. At the start that we see here, he accepts it because he doesn't have any other choice, but it's possible he tries to use it as a new kind of "ordinary" because he could cling to it to cope with everything that's happening. Especially looking at the ending, with the "You're finished" dialogue, I think it's likely. Then again, that's just something I hope this game will have ^^

If Zero Escape games can manage a deathless timeline in just a few timelines (as few as 5 in the first game) and this game comes rolling in with 100 endings...
Yeah, even if most of the ending differences are minimal or trivial, there's got to be at least one, likely even a few, where everyone survives.

I understand why all the characters are so uniform in ethnicity in past Danganronpa games (not Danganronpa but close enough) but it’s fun to shake things up. Also, aside from that, she looks cool. Combat sections will be Tactical RPG boards while down time will be VN segments.
It seems to be a hybrid, akin to some strategy games that also lean heavily on their storytelling (Fire Emblem Three Houses comes to mind for obvious reasons).

I just noticed the MC's sword has handle needles that go into the characters hands. maybe its one of those vampire weapons that draw blood from the user to activate. the other members all seem to have red colored weapons as well

This gameplay footage is definitely from the very beginning of the game. Compared to all the crazy costumes Kotaka and Tookyo Games are known for, the characters are in such normal costumes and tbh the RPG elements don’t seem that highly developed. I think this is just what we see within possibly the first hour before the real game is revealed.
I can see what you mean especially in the aspect that it's all just footage from the very beginning, Kodaka did say he did not want to reveal the main mechanic because it's apparently insane
Danganronpa Forces
We need a crossover between "The Hundred Line - LDA" and "Danganronpa". Imagine having Sirei (the headmaster of the Last Defense Academy) and Monokuma actually duking it out. That would be pretty sick.
Imagine if it grts revealing that the incident that happens at the start of the game is the same as in Danganronpa thst would be crazy
