    Fantastic app and your video, as usual, is/was SUPER HELPFUL! I went ahead and bought a subscription and am using it now. Seems very intuitive and has the voices I want which are so far very satisfying for my needs. Thank you for being there. I relly needed this as I was about to go with Speechelo or Revoicer,

    What was interesting is the 1st grouping. I noticed the robotic effect much less when they were sequential. Cool video. Thanks.

    The brief pause with "or", made it a tad bit robotic in my view. It wasn't bad, but I did notice it. Thanks for the video. It was helpful.

    OMG I just tested the free version, and Claire’s voice was the closet to my project need. Then I realized I should check a video review as I did feel the voices sounded somewhat artificial. So I ended up watching this video, and here’s “my” Claire 😄😍 I’m excited about this video! 🙏

    I made some voiceovers using Speechelo but my students were not impressed. I made matters worse by using a female voice and this led my students to start wondering about a change in my gender identity! The AI voices were good but the students could detect they were AI generated rather than human voices and that just didn't work for them. Presumably, they prefer my not very convincing David Attenborough impressions. Also, with Speechelo, I had to spend a lot of time tinkering with the voices in order to get them sounding less robotic. So, I think AI voice software generally has a way to go and I won't be investing. I tried it but decided, in the end, to use my own crusty English voice for voiceovers for the time being. All that said, this was another interesting and thought provoking video and I recognise all the work and research you put in to it. Please keep them coming. Scotland LOVES you!

      haha, currently working for a Scottish teacher to create some videos with the help of AI, and facing challenges. These videos are designed to be easily understood by second-language learners.

      +1 for Eleven Labs!
      I really like and appreciate the thoughtful and insightful approach you take with your reviews. Your professional expertise adds a lot of value - I'm learning what to look for in the many Text to Speech tools. I've tried Resemble, didn't like it, now trying Eleven Labs and Revoicer (which I have now discounted after your review). Thanks!

    As a professional voiceover artist, i’m very relieved to gear how unauthentic and expressionless these things are! They’ll never be able to take direction or put their backs into a read like a human.

      Sure they will. You can thank Hollywood because soon some dude in his basement will be cranking out higher quality films minus all the agendas.
      Just like we get better News from people in their basements than from mainstream media. Their time is up, people have had enough of these perverts.

    While it's nice to hear the voices, etc., more helpful for me would be side-by-side comparisons of Murf with other popular TTS systems. This kinda sounded like a promo for Murf.

    Hey there! This is informative and a great help. I appreciate how you highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of Murph AI. I found it fascinating how you delved into the various voices and emphasized the importance of finding the right tone and inflection for different projects. It's a unique feature that could potentially provide users with more creative control when fine-tuning their content.

    • @monicasoriano8581
      @monicasoriano8581 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indeed, the ability to adjust tone, inflection, and style in AI-generated content can be a valuable feature for users looking to tailor their content to specific audiences or creative needs. It opens up opportunities for more creative control and customization in the content generation process.

    I tried, it's a skeleton saas software that really sucks for now. I tried putting the voiceover into a video and try it, when you edit something, all the custom emphysis are messed up, there is no way to backstep to previous version as well. At least enable ctrl - z. God it sucks so hard.

    Interesting, but a good point made about the demo voices. I was using one here that was as good, but I’ve stopped using them because it’s still too robotic. And Ai avatars have murder eyes as one person told me. So experiment over.
    It’s fun and interesting, but a long way to go yet.

    Ok, thanks so much for this! I work o. The entertainment industry and this AI , especially once you run it through your transcript , just doesn’t feel reel! I agree with you, the intonations, rhythms , don’t sound like a human, still like a bot. The time you have to spend to make it sound half way this is Not cost effective and certainly would not encourage me to use a Bot, I’ll save more money and make more money using a real human. All a project line producer would do is be paying an expensive editor far more money
