I can so relate! I used to be an avid reader but that was replaced by online entertainment! My brain feels rusty and dusty with lots of cobwebs when it comes to reading. Sad! I took a two day personal retreat and I was able to read a whole book in that space of time! I need to incorporate it again in my daily life (that is, reading besides my Bible/devotion reading).
Omgg a personal retreat sounds divine!!! No electronics, just food, activity, books, prayer and best of all, sleep! 🤣🤣 I'm happy you were able to take that time to yourself and re-up ❤❤

But I haven’t read it, but will definitely do at some point in time soon. Every bookworm I know says it’s worth the read…but I will have to admit upfront here I’m the audiobook kinda person …
It really is highly recommended! So many people have spoken highly of it but I resisted because I am not really into self help books but decided to try this one and loving it so far. Will definitely share after the second chapter

That's one of the problems with working from home: you can either spend the entire time working or the entire time doing your personal chores rather than working on what will pay your bills. I've done it both ways and I have to say, finding the balance is quite difficult. For real, I am not offended but I hope it would be the same assessment if I was a male working from home and ordering food. 😏😏
