When the app told there's a strong wind, she's not joking. I've always gonna turn the quad back, lower the altitude and cancelled whatever i'm intended for after get strong wind warning from the app. I've watched the Part2 and glad that u managed to get it back. Great vid. That FCC hack is amazing! You were flying way too high with that wind - if it goes into rth after signal loss it doesnt dtop to the set rth altitude unless you're flying at lower altitude when you loose connection so at that height and in strong wind you're asking for a fly away.
Wind wasn't bad at the beginning, it seemed to be in all different directions by the end. I didn't expect it to go as far as it did either 😀 I stayed high for the connection initially, I couldn't go too low when battery was dying, didn't want to lose signal, I couldn't afford the 11 seconds of hover before RTH kicked in. A great point about lowering the RTH more to what I need to get out of the wind👍 Thanx for viewing
I charged it and used it as normal. I've learned that the more batteries you have and rotate them to get the maximum life out of them is futile. Time is the factor not usage. But it's best not to let the battery run totally flat.👍
What happens if already in America and run the fcc boost? Does it help? Or is it useless to us in the United States, considering I’m on fcc already, or does the “boost” make even my fcc stronger, I’ve been so confused

You have to go to drone hacks web site click bird map pick the drone you have, buy the license for around £20 not sure what it costs now. After payment is done you get an email with link to the app download. Sign in the app, and initiate FCC mode

Lmao.. fcc? My mini 2 goes 3000+ without no mods...
They do now they have been update, I rarely use it. Also use a different app than the standard DJI FLY. You get better reception.
