And then coming back and adjusting without it. Same thing happened to Buhler, except Buhler hasnt been able to adjust. Getting rocked every outing has messed up his confidence. Thats why i dont think he is coming back this year
As a Dodgers fan I am so disappointed in the maturity level of Yamamoto. Him coming out against the Yankees and throwing 25 of the hardest pitches that he’s ever thrown in his life (all in the same gsme) has probably cost him the rest of his career. I don’t know why he felt the need or desire to prove something to the Yankees but he clearly did. He blew out his rotator cuff that game and as we all know most pitchers that blow out the rotator cuff don’t return for a couple years and when they do return they’re never the same. They spent $325 million on a guy that only lasted a couple months because of his immaturity
Buhler is just taking time off from baseball. He said himself he needed a mental break. Thats why Roberts says he's here and there, just too make it look like he is active working on pitching
