I find this topic in relation to Garuda's talons super interesting, because despite by all accounts not being an exalted weapon, with their application in game not being remotely comparable, they still retain a lot of traits that define them as a weird midpoint between an exalted weapon and a regular weapon. Like there's the frame specific element obviously, but there's also the fact that they can't take arcanes, are not recognized as a melee weapon in activities that require a full loadout, and are associated with her abilities rather than her melee slot in a lot of contexts. I think there was even a point where nullifiers could effect them in certain contexts, but don't quote me on that. The nature of what they are in the game is really weird and fascinating. I don't think thet can really be defined by any normal label, but I'd honestly consider them relevant to bring up in the context of exalted weapons, despite not necessarily being one.
I'm convinced that they are in their own category, which I've personally dubbed "Semi-Exalted" They're not a pseudo-exalted because you can modify them. They're not a true exalted because they're not an ability. However only Garuda can wield them and they have WEIRD interactions with most melee-related mechanics in the game. (As a result of this, Garuda is also the only Warframe in the game that HAS to have a melee weapon)
The weirdest thing is how much more powerful Garuda Prime's Talons are compared to her regular counterpart. Every other frame has negligible stat increases. Garuda is the only one that has one of their abilities buffed.
Important tip: If you're willing to use an extra forma or two to make up for the capacity loss, it's recommended to use a rank 0 version of combat discipline aura, as you deal 10x less damage to yourself with each kill.
it's incredible, this afternoon i watched "for fun" kmf tier list vid (it was bad ofc) and in the start he said, player that watch guide and build video are casual but tryhard and endgame player look for base info and make their stuff themself (witch is true). he just explaine why your content is better. you learn and give info on what player CAN do and not what player need to do. i watched you first video on the exalted blade and i learn lots of thinks (that rare to say that about a yt video with my 5k hour experience) i will follow you serie, love your content

There's one detail you left out in regards to set bonuses for exalted melees which you didn't bring up in the Exalted Blade video so I'm assuming you don't know: if you apply the rest of the Gladiator set (vice and rush) to your actual melee, and then put Might onto the exalted, you'll realize that it has the set bonus for the exalted. This basically lets you replace blood rush on exalted weapons by using a Gladiator set statstick eg. Praedos for the parkour velocity without needing to switch to it to build up combo.
@painoficarus I did. He does talk about set bonuses, but he doesn't talk about this. Every time he mentions it he talks about switching to the other weapon to build up combo and apply the gladiator set bonus that way. I'm saying you can apply one gladiator mod, such as might, to an Exalted, and then the other parts of the set to a statstick melee, and the Exalted will get the effects of the set bonus as if it had two other gladiator mods. It's useful on frames like Valkyr since your survivability is tied to to having the exalted out, so switching to your melee to build up combo for gladiator set is a bad idea. @postmental_thoughts I know. I said that its basically way to have a slightly weaker blood rush on Exalted melees without the hassle of switching.
Now, i dont know if this is gonna be or has been mentioned in this video, but, the warframe strength mods and archon shards an actually also apply to the exalted weapon too, as the exalted weapons also count as not only as a separate weapon *but also as an ability.* I have experienced it thanks to Hildryn prime, and hildryn, boy, oh BOY does it HELP. EDIT: Arcanes too. I have seen it. So, thanks for reminding me of that.

I’ll never forgive de for the mega melee nerfs. Especially the gladiator set’s “unintended interaction” despite the vigilante set working the exact same way
Wait, you said that combo gets reset if it's a weapon that can hold it, but what about if it's initial combo like the ceramic dagger or that riven that gives starting combo per finisher?
exalted weapon cinematic universe before gta6
The exalted video??? THERES NO WAY 😭😭😭😭😭
Does it's length scale with power strength?

Once I am through with the typical Exalted Weapons Garuda Talons will 100% be getting a video, they are a very peculiar weapon.

Second verse same as the first, good pacing, good info, and doesn't overstay its welcome. Looking forward to more! Great work!

Coolcringe you forgot Emergence Dissipate Void Motes, those also restore energy during Channeled abilities. I am so sorry.
