Hi Dennis, The "ease" with which you have of getting in and back out of a reel with multiple "mental hooks", continues to amaze and inspire !! Well done, and best wishes !! Cons
Nice video I just bought a okuma andros 5ns don't know when it was last serviced were would you think I should begin checking the cal's grease on drag washer ,grease the bearings and the shafts, what are your opinions on this real thanks again 👍 going to be using it slow pitch jigging in 180' of water
Slow and steady wins the race. Start with the cleaning and check and lube the parts as you go. Take plenty of pictures along the way as reference points - Thanks for asking - Dennis
@@2ndChanceTackle I gonna take a chance with it have a trip planned for May but when I get back can I have you look at it and service for me thanks Tobias
This is a Saltwater reel that fits both jigging and pitching. There is a major trend of downsizing gear and going light tackle for big fish. Braid has made that possible. This s one of the Avet style reels that make that happen - Dennis

What is this reel being used for? Slow pitch &speed jigging ? Or fishing the bottom with bait.
