That's really good information, thanks! I'm collecting little tidbits of info like that in my head cuz I plan to write a near-future combat novel (just for kicks) and I want it to be as realistic as I can get it despite me only being a civ! :D

In the men's department of the US military, the USMC, this is also true. The corpsmen teach us this in combat life savers course, along with learning how to treat a tension pneumothorax
@@IndyColts317 tension pneumothorax was (I say was because I have no idea if they still do) also taught during infantry OSUT and continuously over my time in.

@@hamed8561 No its not, it will both prevent you from downloading the necessary mods as well as prevent you from joining the server it's being hosted on. Wait for the next winter sale, the game drops to about 5-10$ USD and believe me it'll be the best 5-10$ you ever spend.

Are they fighting against bots or real players?
Its ai but it reacts to their movement and equipment
your unit needs to learn comms consideration and only talk if its important be short and give info as fast as possible. there has to be more comms discipline! but other than that this was an awesome mission and video!! big fan karma!
Probably a big part of why Karmakut started the KOG series. Not as much chit chat going on with comms and proximity chat. Impressive that he was able to listen to certain transmissions a few times in this video with like 4 conversations going on in his ear.

Watching all of this stream as of this upload. My thoughts haven't changed. Karmakut is a solid logistics leader but supply allocation and tactics could use some work.

Yep, players vs ai, but in arma you can Zeus which is the person who controls the game. They can place ai assets and target areas in the map for mortars. Never make fun of a Zeus or you might get mortared.
