‘And then your tastebuds die’ had me in stitches!! The demise of city walk is such a shame - sometimes you need that buzz to pick you up after a long day, and I noticed it’s absence on my last trip - so disappointed to hear it’s not getting back to what we love it for!!
Thank you so much for coming along with us! Yes we didn’t really notice on our April trip but this time was certainly different.. and we’re glad we asked the team member as we felt it wasn’t right.. so we’ll have to see what happens in the future. Maybe a sign of the times?

Guys great vlog as always, we remember all the old rides before islands of adventure opened and still miss back to the future, jaws the old king Kong ride and earthquake. The minion's ride was the flintstones when we first visited, and Shrek was Alfred Hitchcock presents and Hard Rock Cafe was inside the park.
Thank you for being with us Rae! We kinda just missed out on all those cool rides! We enjoy watching them on people’s previous videos/vlogs. Guess things have to move forwards but you can’t beat the classics!!!!!

Portafino looks lovely. How nice that you could do club level too. How funny to meet people that live so close all the way in America. Haha that fridge magnet would have to be your prized possession if you travelled all the way back for it How lovely to have love opera in the evening Wooo cocktails. They looked yummy. It’s interesting that City Walk would move away from the drinking because that’s kind of what makes it different to Disney springs. Brilliant vlog as always xx

I loved Portofino Bay when I stayed there a couple of years ago. It’s a lovely resort! Very nice little upgrade you did for Tom’s birthday! That club lounge was huge! We enjoyed your little banter back and forth 🤣 something every couple does! It is a bit of a shame that city walk rolls up the carpet earlier these days. We kind of feel the same about Disney, it’s often difficult to find a lounge open after 10 or 12. ❤ PS we enjoyed “tipsy Tom” in this one, he was so smiley! 😁

It’s really interesting to see what City Walk is becoming but it might be a whole host of reasons behind it…. Oh well! Still plenty of fun to be had!!
Resort looked fab. I do like Universal. We’re staying on Disney property for our next trip but I’m definitely going to pop over and have a look at this resort. The express pass is a great perk.
Oh you’ll have to let us know what you think Sean! It’s absolutely worth it for those express passes… especially if you price up how much they would be separately. Of course the amount of wine Tom was poured in the lounge probably equates to a similar value! 😂😂😂

Food in the lounge wasn’t too bad. More snacks and appetisers rather than a full on meal but worth it.. and of course the drinkies are always welcome!
