Glad I could help!!!! I only knew about that trick because when I replaced my trans in my 1993 first gen I broke the plug on that sensor and didn't get overdrive.

68mm turbo and 5 inch from turbo back to straight pipe make a big difference I have a 98 with that set up on a 5 speed dually 12v
that gen 1 looks so damn good

If you want to make the diff last longer you can weld a square piece of 1/4 inch plate bridging the gears inside of the diff to keep it from just grinding up the welds
DMARQ Prøductions they did put a plate in you can see once he finishes welding it for like 2 seconds

They're just floating in my garage with under 2000 miles I went to 7x18 in mine. I'll send them to you so long as I know they go in the truck! Not sure how else to get ahold of you! Thanks! The Hamilton 188/220 cam and the M&H timing spacer and fuel pin should be on your next to buy list. Promise it'll make your night and day. I'm running close to 520hp (dyno proof) on a VE PUMP. Which is darn near impossible people say.

You can spend $50 on a kit, or find a radio shack and spend $20 on a 5,000k ohm potentiometer and a 3 conductor wire. Solder the 3 wires to the pot then to the factory pot wires on the engine. Then mount the new pot to your dash and done! That's what I did to my 93 dodge

i know in my gas second gen overdrive only engages when the trans temp reaches a certain temp.
He said he still gets pretty good, but I'd like to know exactly how good No Boost's mpg's are. And also the tow rig. Love the channel!
I did this to my own truck. Welded the ring to the pinion like you said. Now the truck dosnt want to move..? Any help?

Wait, the regular BrakeKleen is fine as long as you don't weld or start to heat up those parts with a torch. That's when it makes dangerous fumes.
Can you show where the sensor was located on the trans to fix the overdrive issue, I'm having the same problem
Hope Russel used a high nickle based alloy filer rod would last much longer dont get me wrong you can use er70s2 and er70s6 but they dont have the nickle you need for to cased parts

HEY GREG CHANGE THE OIL IN THAT WELDED DIFF IMMEDIATELY AFTER FIRST USE......BUNCH OF SLAG IN THAT OIL AFTER THE FIRST FEW CHANGES
Tig (tungsten inert gas) welding uses gas as the shielding medium so no, he will not have slag in the oil.
I still would never weld my diff and not change the fluid at least a couple times
