its probs better to use a hopper in minecart instead of just hoppers and mud since cheaper plus mud is harder to get so yeah thats just my opinion tho.

Yeah, thats right, but for small farms the amount of hoppers you need is ok... And the hopper minecart makes a lot of noise if you build it inside your base. But definitely not for big farms. Alltho the hopper variant takes more space if you're trying to stack it... 👍🏻

you could make an iron farm and just use infinite hoppers
