Honest opinion on your second single. Cemburu is good, but not good enough as a comeback . moreover, the song being your first comeback after the debut is kind of disappointing a little bit. It felt, as if, the song was a last minute assignment needed to be done due to the incoming festival that coex will be performing at. Cenburu sounds a bit cheap and the lyrics are pretty generic and cringe. Coex group members are all rounder, you guys have the visuals and talents. I wish the management and the record label worked a little harder to make sure these girls get the quality they deserve in term of music. just another suggestion, maybe you guys can try producers that have the experience of working with girl groups or atleast, have a decent sounding songs released. such as, MFMF or Kuizz. This group has been quite around for some time, we needed them to make a proper comeback now! Gimme that crown was pretty decent, but cemburu just ruined the discography 🙃 I wish coex the best, and I’m sending nothing but love to you guys. goodluck !
I was expecting more for their comeback too, maybe that's something AEG needs to keep track of on their music production team. Pretty sure the production team is also doing their best for the girls. We as fans have to remember how AEG is a small company compared to other major entertainment companies in Malaysia like Rocketfuel & KRU. I'm sure they're doing their best behind the scenes and I would COËX's scope of genre atm is similar to Red Velvet or G(Idle). Always experimenting with their vocal colour and concepts. Can't wait for what they're bringing on the table soon for their "seram" concept 😂 but I hope their behind the scenes team plans these all well. So far, their team has done good for Cemburu's aesthetic on social media and content 🎉 we hope to see them expand more on this 😊 Hwaiting COËX & AEG 💚🤍
