Whether you decide to the ASVAB or PiCAT, it's important to prepare for them by taking practice tests. Went from a 43 to a 91 thanks to your channel. It said I did exceptionally well on the math portion. I’ve never heard those words in my life because I always struggled in math. Thanks
@@joshjackson4063 it will be relative to you and what score you want and how well you are understanding the material. If you watch grammar hero and get the dummies book and get familiar with the material you will be good. This is coming from a person who forgot how to do long division and never learned how to do fractions on my predictor test which was a 43. I’m assuming the 43 came almost alone from paragraph comprehension and word knowledge. Then learning the math too just took me up. I spent a month on terrible material that was really really slow and I don’t think I learned much at all. Then I found good material and spent another month. So with good material is should take about a month. I wasn’t consistent with my study times. It was basically how convicted I was that day. The last week and half I put about 6-8 hours a day in because I was panicking. Before that it wasn’t as in depth which is why I really focused up the last week and half cause I was scared I wasn’t even gonna pass. If your goal is to just pass then you really have nothing to worry about because the score is based on other people’s scores and not how many you get right necessarily. Studying for a week or 2 with good material is already putting you ahead of the game, because many people are careless and won’t study at all.
Hello Hero!! My Husband is currently in army service. I practiced for 3 weeks 6 hours every day, made my ASVAB yesterday, and got 61, 107 Clerical!! I want to be a 42A. Thank you so much, I really appreciate you.
Dude thanks so much 4 covering this mechanical comprehension is so important cus everyone needs least a 50 on it in order 2 go to B.U.D.S and be a Navy SEAL which is in my opinion the best job in the Navy please do more vids on this subject!
If you check out my playlists, you'll see that I made one for this topic. I'll try to add about 50+ videos on this topic to that playlist soon. Rome wasn't built in a day!
depends on how much you paid attention in high school and how long ago you graduated. I would say no, not much common sense. You need a wide vocabulary in math and english and know lots of formulas.
All of the study guides and practice tests are here: www.asvabapp.com/ Work through the study guides and take the practice tests. If you do that, you should be fine on your retest. Good luck!
AFQT score = Arithmetic Reasoning + Math Knowledge + Word Knowledge + Paragraph Comp. Mechanical Comp doesn't affect your AFQT score; it only affects your line scores and the jobs you qualify for.
@ If you got a 50 AFQT and a 41 MC, then you probably answer about 60% of these correctly on your own. If you aren't pausing the video and just watching it, you'll think you know more than you actually do!
