Speaking of movies, I think It would be a good idea to talk about American humor. I have heard a lot of jokes and satires referred to American movie characters in both other movies and daily conversations. Even though I speak English fluently, I sometimes still feel a little out of touch when being surrounded by American and Canadian folks in Vietnam as I don't understand their sense of humor. I think It'll help Vietnamese ppl living in America feel more confident, secure and included as they are part of the country if they understand and even are able to make American jokes.
Vietnamese and American have VERY different sense of humor and then even within each culture and society it will vary. I’ve often thought of this but not sure how to actually “teach” it.

Thank you Leyna and Rob for your interesting lesson. I don't think using a moped in Vietnam for travelling is the right word. According to Cambridge Dictionary, a moped is "a small motorcycle with pedals (= parts that you press with your feet to move forward) that can be used when starting it or travelling up a hill". A moped should have pedals while motorbikes in Vietnam or scooters don't have pedals. Using motorbikes or scooters (< 125 cc in its engine) are likely the right words I think.
Hi Leyna, “Xe ôm” as a noun prefers to a service in Vietnam provide you rides using motorcycle, uber motorcycle maybe? Since we dont have that service over here I cant think of any better term.

Leyna said English is very complicated, compared to Vietnamese, which is absolutely correct. But when you compare English with German and French, English is easier, ok. I think English is not so difficult to learn, just the pronunciation is difficult.
