My only issue is the duplicate cars reset to level 1. That specific aspect of the level system has to be changed. It stops us from owning duplicates altogether. I’m not gonna grind 3 hours over and over again on the same car just to have separate builds of the car.
@@fifteen8850yeah but this doesn’t solve the issue. Having one car with several cars isn’t useful at all. Because each time when you are in a lobby you can only chose the car that fits to the lobby restrictions. So if you have the car in A with a tune in B and the lobby is B you can’t chose the car. This is why most players have the cars multiple times.

As someone that loves the previous motorsport games, we have a group of us that love to hop on and tandem and build cars to have top 100 scores.. all i can say is.. i have a feeling motorsport is losing our buisness untill they fix this system for leveling cars. Not wanting to waste a whole day of driving one car with no upgrades just to have 1 car maxed out to drift with and hope it's a good car for it..
I think they should’ve let you get whatever you want, but make it be like choosing level “perks”. Where you earn points to spend from levels. Some are more expensive than others (like engine swaps) where you have to save points from levels
I put the driver level on 5 and I usually pick to start in 11-12th, it is a battle to get to first. I have been enjoying the racing so far, the AI are more dirty than the online players 😂
Didn't try to do it yet, but i believe you can. Not sure if i saw the option to just change, maybe you have to go back to menu, gonna look into it tonight.
I would've prefered manufacturer level again or a much slower car leveling system but that affects all cars, like if you're level 40 all cars have the the parts available up to that level. I don't like sim-racing that much to grind hundreds of cars one by one without an AFK cheat like in Horizon...
I kinda hate that it looks so flat, im ok with it not being saturated but damn there's no contrast. You can literally go to photo mode, up the contrast to 60 and that's how the game should look like
huh? the game looks good, it looks flat and milky when you launch initially but once you drop the brightness it looks great. Like look at the difference between yesterday's video and this one
@@DUBSmbidk i guess its personal preference but lowering brightness does help a bit, but its also taking away the shine, i mean contrast is a very different parameter, there's also the fact i play on hdr, and to tune hdr with only brightness doesn't work as well as it does on sdr, which i would assume is how you play on pc. (I play on a TV and Xsx)
For a game in development for 5+ years, can anyone really tell? I want this game to be good, but some of Turn 10's decision making is... questionable at best. Leveling should be manufacturer based, not car based. Upgrades should not be locked behind leveling. Instead, have leveling for a manufacturer where you can unlock faster cars for that manufacturer by leveling up. Not having Nordschleife in the game at launch is a big L. I'm going to give it some time and hope the developers listen to their players, but I won't hold my breath. The track itself is either presented as black nothingness or transparent. No asphalt texture to speak of. This is with a 13th gen i9 and RTX 4090. Very disappointing. I hope Turn 10 fixes this crap before everyone abandons their game, just like everyone abandoned Diablo IV. A game that spends 5+ years in development should not only be complete, but polished. This is neither. If you're on the fence about buying this game. I would recommend you save your money and wait to see if they fix it. The current state of the game is subpar at best.

I honestly think they should just remove the system entirely or at least dont lock upgrades behind it.

With the ai on difficulty 7 and starting 10th you can get 2nd or third place everytime and then some tracks i can get 1st in career mode

I don’t like the fact that other drivatars cars get upgraded as you upgrade your own. Car levels being a higher classes also doesn’t make much sense
