Personally, I do love it and think it is worth it. However, it can be said that there are other oracle decks out there that do just as good a job speaking to topics of spiritual awakening, initiations, etc. This deck in particular is pretty unique in the way that the guidebook dives into very specific ways of working with the cards, so I really like that! 😊 I would say trust your instinct! 💖

I wonder what tutankamun has to do w the deck? His cartouche is all over this thing. I'd think Akhenaten's would be more appropriate.

That is a really cool observation! I looked up some info on Akhenaten and he has some really interesting history behind him. My guess is that Tutankhamun is featured because the creator was reflecting her spiritual awakening journey through the cards. 😊 I can definitely see how Akhenaten would be quite appropriate though!

Ugh, some of those cards are really stunning and unique. I just really dislike photo collage where there's a picture of a person plopped into a scene. haha. The vibe is kinda Danielle Noel Rebecca Campbell ish but I do love some of the cards, a lot. I don't need it! I don't need it. I don't need it.

I totally agree, sometimes it's a little jarring to have a person smack in the middle of a scene where you might not expect it, haha.

I understand too. For me it’s difficult to relate to a deck without people though. I think the best way to incorporate people (and secondarily animals and other beings) is to always include symbolism and/or some kind of visual/optical illusion or something. I’ve just noticed that decks which don’t do this I tend to not gravitate to. To me the Danielle Noel style is supposed to be chocked full of esotericism and some artists can have a difficult time doing this.
Edit: This card is an example of what I’m talking about 17:20 it is absolutely lovely overall!

@@calypso_lazuli I can see how having people/figures in a deck can be important for readers. I feel like this deck does a pretty good job at striking that balance in most cards! 😊Ooh yes, Danielle Noel decks are some of my favorites! Totally agree that the 'Fire Initiation' card in this deck is stunning. 💖
