once stubbed my toe at 3am.. it had no toe nail after that and was bleeding... once it stopped and the nail grew back i had a loose scab just under my toe nail... i took something and cut my nail to remove the loose scab after it fully healed... when the nail grew back again it was just like it was before i stubbed it... it kept hurting as it was healing though.. that toe still hurts a little as it was a few weeks ago when i stubbed it...
