Disable / Bypass Remote Temporary Disabled Lock on Samsung Galaxy Devices!

  • Video showing a Samsung temporary disabled block being bypassed on a Galaxy S21 Ultra. This is many times called a "KG lock" or "KnoxGuard lock". The device in the video was blocked because a trade-in was never received for it, but the block can be applied for several different reasons, either by Samsung themselves or by a retail store that sells the device on a payment plan. The exact message that appears on the screen may vary, but it always looks very similar to what is shown in the video. It will usually say things like:
    - "reported as lost in transit"
    - "outstanding balance due"
    - "failure to meet trade-in terms"
    - "a qualifying trade-in device was not mailed in"
    - "the original purchaser failed to complete payment of their order"
    - "we have been unable to collect payment for the provided credit on this new device"
    - "phone functions have been disabled"
    - "all functions on this device are unavailable until authorized"
    - "your phone has been locked due to being inactive with Walmart systems"
    - "This device, the exclusive property of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc, has been reported as lost/stolen, and has been locked."
    - "This device has been reported as lost, stolen or undelivered by the purchaser which has resulted in the device being locked"
    - "You should contact the seller to resolve this matter"
    - "This device is locked. Please contact to Servify for additional details."
    The service that we sell allows that block to be bypassed, allowing for normal use of the device. It can be performed for models such as:

    Does it have to be factory reset. They disabled my phone I bought rather than the trade and it was purchased under my daughter's acct. I spent an entire afternoon trying to fix this with Samsung. I was on hold for 30 to 45 min at a time for at least 28 phone calls.

      Some functions are restricted, yes. The only restriction on notifications is that they don't appear on the lockscreen. No restrictions on syncing info from accounts

      What the hell are you talking about? The device stays in plain view the entire time. Also, the IMEI shown at the end is the exact same as what shows on the screen at the beginning. Nice try though.

    Mine just got locked yesterday by Samsung, I bought it on Craigslist 2 months ago brand new, I was confident about the purchase because the guy had the receipt from Samsung and everything, Moral of the story is receipts don't mean shyt when buying a phone anymore you can still be scammed like me.

      The problem shown in the video has nothing to do with a SIM/network lock - it's something totally different. There's a high likelihood that the device is already network unlocked

      Yes, it can also be called that. Samsung has lots of different lock types, so the terms are sometimes used interchangeably

    I'm positive 30% of people got scammed and 70% tried to get over on Samsung either by not sending in their trade in that was credited for the deal or signed up for a installment plan and never paid and now need help

      Well that's part of it, sure. But the internet is also FULL of people posting about how Samsung screwed them over on a legitimate trade-in, either by claiming the device got lost or never arrived (even though the tracking number said it did), or claiming it arrived damaged, or it was the wrong model, or they didn't erase their info when they actually did, etc

      There's no way to back up anything once the device gets locked, if you didn't already have it backed up beforehand

    Go in your developer settings enable dev USB debugging that way when you put it in recovery mode it works without paying anyone

      I have an S22ultra with this message. The problem is, you can't go to any settings because when you set the phone up, and you hit finish, that stupid message pops back on.

      If you're referring to Android Recovery mode, then it can be done the same way as any other Samsung. The Samsung block does not prevent the phone from being put into that mode

    How does Samsung even do this? Can they do it to even old phones like note 8? And do people need to go to you everytime Samsung locks the phone after the factory reset or you can prevent them by locking Samsung out of the phone?

      1. The ability comes in the software by default. When someone doesn't send their trade-in device, or if the device is damaged, or it's a different model than what they said it is, or if they defraud Samsung in some other way in regards to the trade-in process, then Samsung initiates the lock.
      2. No, we can't permanently lock Samsung out of their own devices

But it's unnerving to know they are capable of this, for if they are able to lock a phone you paid in full then they are able to install patches infringing privacy without users knowledge. How does Samsung achieve this, to lock "their" device remotely?

      The only way to do it without a factory reset is to pay Samsung what is owed on the device and get the unlock PIN from them

    Mine just got locked Samsung s22 ultra after a month use I bought it from Facebook seller( but outside deal) the seller said he bought it unlocked device directly from Samsung website now message pops up saying " Samsung temporarily disabled this device because it was reported as lost in transit or there is an outstanding balance due from failure to meet trade in terms. to unlock, check the email used at the time of purchased for a message sent by Samsung for the next steps . your device will be unlocked the following business day after a successful payments . please help if you can unlock it .

    After paying $150 phone was locked again because of some of the app I d/l and use. Nate helped get it unlocked again after I came back 2 weeks later. Fast forward a few weeks again and the S23 Ultra is locked again by Samsung remotely. Now I have to send the phone in for another $150?! That does not make any sense.

      No different than the first time, we're happy to redo the temporary bypass again at no charge. As has already been explained to you, the additional $150 is for our new permanent removal option - and that's a totally different and separate procedure. And as also explained to you, that's a 25% discount from what the normal cost is.

      @MNMobileGuy I don't think anyone is looking for temporary solutions. Why wouldn't this have been an option that you presented first? Having to deal with this the last two times and each time taking about an hour is not an easy fix.
      It is time-consuming, and to not know when Samsung will nuke the phone again is a huge issue.

      2. The reason that the permanent option wasn't mentioned before is because it didn't exist, when you first contacted us. That's why our email said "Since we last spoke" and also why our comment above says that it's a "new option"

      @MNMobileGuy do you honestly think that people are just looking for a temporary solution? We need these phones to be dependable. A lot of times, we have data sync to them, and when you're locked out, you've lost everything. Nobody wants a band-aid as a solution.

      @@ob1kanukie The permanent solution has been offered as an option to every single US customer who has contacted us, ever since we finished developing it. Those who want the permanent option choose it, and those who don't, choose the temporary solution. In regards to retaining user data, it is every user's responsibility to make sure that any and all of their data is always backed up, at all times. The Samsung lock being enabled is only 1 of a dozen different things that can make someone lose access to their personal data. No different than when a wireless carrier or insurance company has to do a repair or replacement, it's not our responsibility if the user chose not to have any backup plan in place, before something happened to their device

      But it's been 3 month already since I first ever called after the first. Month of you telling me. To give you 2 wks after 2 month I called again and you said it was 95 percent done and that was a month ago at this point I'm about to just buy another phone but I don't feel like spending another 700 buck on something that might happen again and I'm not gonna pay 1400bucks for a. New. One

      @@IronmanEli we decided to add Android 13 support into the new method, instead of waiting and doing a separate method for it later. That's why it's been taking so long

      The fact that this is a business is very clearly disclosed in the first 10 seconds of the video - and it's also in the description. If you kept watching past the first 10 seconds, then I don't know what to tell ya
