Nope, a civilization who is based on colonialism, genocides, exploitation of other people, oppression and stealing is a primitive one. You should listen more carefully.
Faraoth civilization, the Arab Muslim civilization, the Persian civilization, the Chinese and Indian civilization were based on science and rationality. The western world didn't have a civilization. They had the crusades which resulted in the murder of 160 million human beings. They destroy libraries, research and killed scientists all over the world because they didn't believe in science until they saw that they were centuries behind other parts of the world. Then they started colonizing other countries to try and steal their technology. If you noticed that the only field the west excel at and flaunts is weaponry.

@@jacquelinehembrey4825 to address your specifics about the US, which shows you didn’t even read my comment.
Homelessness is the highest it’s ever been in raw numbers but that’s due to the highest population. In terms of per captia, we saw higher rates in the 80s and 40s. This is also very different depending on state.
Also keep in mind that homelessness in the US is not the same as homelessness in other parts of the world outside the west. What country would you choose to be homeless in?
The amount of money that we send Israel is not enough to end homelessness. Look at what California alone has spent on homelessness in 2023. California spent more than the entire amount sent to Israel in 2023 and we are no closer to solving homelessness.
Women have complete autonomy over their bodies. I’m assuming you are talking about abortion because you would be able to name a single other aspect that limits women autonomy. Why don’t you look at how women’s rights is outside the west, especially in Islamic societies. The states are allowed to make decisions on wether women can kill their babies or not and look at how the majority of states rules even conservative places like Oklahoma.
Educstion is provided for free to all students even non citizens. Post educstion is extremely available to anyone, especially community colleges trade schools and other universities. We have so much scholarship money and have the most students who want to go to college, are able to do so even through grants.
In terms of healthcare, it’s better to look at it state by state, and even then you are comparing it to other top countries. Compared to the entire world, we are among the top 10%.
When you look at the freedom index, the US ranks 15 overall which is outstanding given the size of our country. The US is rank the top 10% of countries of civil rights. Again, look at it state by state for a better picture. (Imagine if the EU was looked at instead of the individual countries and then you would see much better results)

Always a risk to critisize and condemn- do not forget that the human species is far from perfect and any broad minded, clear thinking individual would recognize the shortcomings of any system, e.g. the lack of freedom for women- now in protest in MEastern regions, living under cruel domination of the male powers that be. I raised 3 daughters - all of them university gaduates and contributing towards educating the youth in music- some are underpriviledged from poor communities. Now go ahead and judge thís western mindset mr. Bolsen.

@@planetfocus911 So, you're just going to pretend to not know what I'm talking about? OK.
With regard to the middle east, Tunisia and Turkey have pretty liberal abortion laws and even in countries where it's "banned" or "illegal" such as Egypt and Iran the law is pretty flexible when it comes to the mother's life or health and fetal abnormalities.
Whereas in the US, women are no longer alive because of the overturning of Roe. The democrats had half a century to codify that into law. It's not like the repugs ever hid their intention to overturn it.
And in Palestine the women are so "oppressed" there's the speed sisters an all women car racing team that not only exists, they compete with the men ...
The west must vilify in order to justify. Don't believe everything you hear.

The content of this video is explicitly about the sins of the Western World and not the other way round. I am an African and do not have to defend the West, however, I have always sought to create clarity and balance in any argument. I am making the point that gross generalisation does not make for reasonable statements on any subject and the disrespect bordering on bitter resentment towards anything western, is so clearly reflected in mr. Bolsen's narrative.
There is enough literature out there to substantiate my claims about the severe restrictions on women's rights in MEastern countries- make an effort.
