I see a lot of cool stuff at flea markets, however the prices are usually too high and not worth anything to flip. at least in my area. Great videos as always.
It’s the same way at our flea markets as well. You just need to find stuff that the vendors don’t normally sell or stuff they don’t really care about. I usually find stuff by having a conversation with them. Get to know them and you will do better.
Good find on the vintage cars collectibles; another item that sells are charlie brown or peanuts charles chultz figures or lots; thanks Rod for your new video and advice. Blessings.
Camera's are tricky, Some makes/models can bring hundreds. In that situation I would probably look up what I thought would be worth the most and go from there. Its always a gamble as to whether or not they are going to be in working condition as well.
The Brand new, resealed, probably never played with, definitely complete Lego set!! 😂 For $5 you should have picked it up and made an un-boxing video to show the trials and tribulations of a reseller! Banger video Rod!!
Get like a small 32 inch tv and take with you to your yard sales that way you can easily plug the systems in to see if they work.. 32 inch TV's aren't heavy..You can pretty much keep it in your vehicle just for that occasion.
i have a guy in VA that always messages me for cameras after buying 2 35ms from me for about 90ea, but they were all german 35m models so i guess it would really depend on the brand, i did sit on them for 2 months didnt think they would sale and then he popped up just buying
Hi Rod great video as always you did right to pass on the cameras I really love the Christmas houses do you send to AUSTRALIA or would it be to expensive best wishes to you and yours 🦘🐨🇦🇺❤️
I do ship on ebay to Australia through the Ebay Global Shipping program. It will be expensive to ship them. I have a link to my ebay store in my description. You can go check it out to see what it would cost.
You made the right decision on the cameras. I wouldn't take them for 50. Film cameras like that are very hard to test and usually aren't worth much. You find some winners, if they work. Some people want for display so they want it cheap. So much to test. The eye port usually has dirt or mold or blurry. Got to check the mirrors inside. Got to check winder, timer etc. no film, can't test it fully either
On the other hand, people aren't messing with the film type cameras since digital came out and just put them away in perfect working condition. And there are still colleges teaching 35 mm photography and students looking for cheap cameras. 50 dollars for 23 cameras? Even for parts they would have been profitable.
@@pickingandpunching conversely, I've sold numerous Minolta hi matics for 45 to 75. If there was one canon qIII or many other rangematic cameras you could have paid for that entire box in one fell swoop. I would have offered a hundred and bought them for that if accepted. People who summarily dismiss cameras aren't real bright and don't follow trends or markets. Period.
She was making jokes about how she put a $50 price on the game but was only charging ten dollars for it. She was saying that I would get a lower price and be happy to buy it. Which I did, lol

Right call on the cameras, i have no luck with those 35mm cameras myself, but if they were digital I would be all over it. be well, happy picking!
I agree with you. Digital Cameras are hot right now.
Great finds, I love the variety of things you pick! Between those cars & the houses, you did really well. Hope it sells quickly for you!
Thank you. I already sold two of the houses and one car.
Witam oraz pozdrawiam cieplutko. Świetnie udostępnienie🙂👍

Peanut stuff does sell good. I have sold a bunch of it in the past. Thanks for watching.

I agree. At that price point I wasn’t willing to gamble on them.
Enjoyed the video like the xmas houses🎉🎉🎉😊
They are some of my favorites
That Simpsons Christmas Set will make a great set up this time of the year! Fun Video! Thanks for sharing!
It’s a really cool Christmas set. One of my favorites.
Great finds, vintage cars and the Simpsons houses. ❤😊
Thanks!

Lmao! This is a great idea. I’ll do that on a future video. Hope all is well.
You could do a compilation video.. All good here! Thanks, brother!!

😂. That’s a big tv. I used to have a small flat screen 7 inch tv that I used to bring with me. It was the best thing for testing systems.

That’s a good content to have. Hopefully you made some good money.

Good stuff! Those simpsons sets are super cool!
They are amazing. You should go online and look at the rest of the houses in the set. They are great.
Good Stuff!
Thanks!
Pretty common cameras maybe $5 bucks a piece. Lenses is what you want too find.
Thanks for the info.
You remembered your blanket!
I did, lol. I have family in town this week for an early Xmas. I’ll be back next week.
Those Simpsons Houses were super cool!
one of my favorite finds in a while.
You made a good decision!! 😊
Thanks!
I had a watch like that ! Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaany years ago! Good finds man!
Those old watches were really cool.
Great pickups brother!!!
Thanks man.
Awesome ❤
Thanks!

She was asking $175 for 23 cameras not $50.
I feel like I made a good decision on passing on the cameras for the price point. I just wasn't sure if there was something that I missed there.
@@malcolmharing3744 very true, i think it was a pass for sure

I only test cameras if they sell over 50 dollars the rest sell parts and repair
@@christophernutter6112 that’s an interesting threshold. It makes sense though.
80 dollars for the car models is insane! The 25 you showed is the minimum I think. As a set in the same color they will definitely do more…..! 👍🏼
Yea that was the minimum. Prices will change based on color and make of car. I have sold a bunch of them in the past.
I remember those watches as a kid 👍
They are cool
The camera you picked up was the one you should have bought. Some Olympus Point and Shoot cameras can bring over a hundred dollars.
Thanks for the info. I’m always trying to learn from my viewers.
Cool finds
Thanks!
I sold four of those butterscotch bakelite dice for $75. Thats a $200 bag for $25!!!!!
I had no idea. Thank you for letting me know!
some bakelite is like gold haha
Most cameras the batteries cost just a much of most camera's sell for
This is true but It just seemed like a ton of work.
I've 3 of the transformer watches in red
@@begby3092 that’s awesome!

@pickingandpunching aloha
$175 for a lot of old untested cameras is a definite hell no 😂 if they were digital and good brands maybe it's a different story
@@anymoose I was thinking the same thing 😂
Legend has it you can't sell at a flea market unless you smoke and have matching tattoo sleeves.
LMAO...It maybe true
Was that reddy kilowatt for$8 (in front of the football bobbleheads). Omg. 🙄
Thanks for letting me know. I had no idea about reddy kilowatt items. I just looked them up.
Eventually I'll move somewhere where someone could joke about a tony dabtana at a flea market. lmao
LOL. That was great.
Have you ever found a VHS Song of the South?
I have not but it’s worth some money.
You know if its Sterling!
😂
From the thumbnail I thought for sure she sold you a NES repro cart.
LOL
never seen those simpsons sets before.
They are really awesome! I love them.
💪
good pass on cameras, at least based on names I saw.
Good to know. Thank you!
