Tauchurlaub im SANDIES BATHALA RESORT auf den Malediven - April 2024

Nach dem Tauchurlaub auf Filitheyo im letzten Jahr, standen dieses Mal 15 Tage im SANDIES BATHALA RESORT auf dem Programm. Wir tauchten erneut mit einer 'Werner Lau Tauchschule' und wieder waren die Organisation und der Service ohne Fehl und Tadel - bei entsprechenden (auf den Malediven allerdings nicht unüblichen) Preisen! Das Resort selbst hat uns ganz gut gefallen, wenn uns auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht wirklich passend erschien. Eine ausführliche Bewertung der Insel von uns kann man auf 'Tripadvisor' finden.
Gefilmt habe ich wieder mit der AKASO Brave 7 Action Cam (unter Wasser), der WOLFANG GA420 Action Cam und einem SAMSUNG Galaxy S22 (über Wasser) sowie der DJI MAVIC MINI (Luftaufnahmen). Um eine überschaubare Dateigröße zu kreieren wurden die Aufnahmen von 4K im Original (2.7 K bei der Drohne) auf 1080p im fertigen Video heruntergerechnet.
Zum Editing wurde die Software 'VideoPad Pro' verwendet. Die Music stammt ausschließlich aus copyright- und GEMA-freien Quellen!

After last year's diving holiday on Filitheyo, this time we spent 15 days at SANDIES BATHALA RESORT. We again dived with a ‘Werner Lau Diving Center’ and once again the organisation and service were faultless - at corresponding prices (which are not unusual in the Maldives)! We quite liked the resort itself, even if the price/performance ratio didn't really seem right. You can find our detailed review of the island on 'Tripadvisor'.
I filmed again with the AKASO Brave 7 Action Cam (underwater), the WOLFANG GA420 Action Cam and a SAMSUNG Galaxy S22 (above water) as well as the DJI MAVIC MINI (aerial shots). In order to create a manageable file size, the recordings were reduced from 4K in the original (2.7 K for the drone) to 1080p in the finished video.
The ‘VideoPad Pro’ software was used for editing. The music comes exclusively from copyright- and GEMA-free sources!

Hello Cliff, did you need special permission to take a drone?

In theory, yes. But everbody is taking a drone along these days and is just filming. Make sure, though, not to harrass other guests!
