Jason, this video made my day! There will never be another person that has a love for Christmas like Jody! Growing up he decorated our house and grandparents houses and that was just the beginning of his design touch. The family enjoyed watching him decorate to see what he would come up with, always amazing! He even decorated his (& my) bedrooms for Christmas growing up and it looked like show rooms back then! Watching this video made me smile, made me think of me and Jody's mom & dad (who were amazed at Jody's Christmas skills and encouraged his collection). I always said growing up that Jody was an elf..... December birthday, love for Christmas......tiny human.....yeah, that says elf to me. Thank you Jason for filming this. Jason, I nearly cried when you stopped and filmed that white ceramic Christmas tree, with the red plastic pegs that light up when you plug it in. My Nannie, she is the woman who raised me, she was a very serious pottery/ceramics hobbieist (she even had her own kiln in her basement) she took many art classes to learn the craft, eventually she even taught some classes on the Drake University campus where she worked for 50 years. She had one of those White ceramic trees which sat as the centerpiece of her dining room buffet every year. I don't recall if it was a gift from someone or if she made it herself, but it was my favorite Christmas decoration every year. Recently, I started to go through boxes in the garage when we started to clean out my mother's estate and I found the tree! I haven't yet located the red pegs though, so hopefully they have not been lost. I haven't been able to decorate or even try to celebrate Christmas in quite a long time because it's just too painful now. But watching your video and seeing that tree inspired me and I think i'd like to try to again. So, maybe next year? Happy Holidays! 🎄 P.S. I hope you got my card?

The tree with the pinned sequins and beads ornaments brought back such special memories. When my father would go out of town on business during the Christmas season, my mom and I would each select a kit and make these together during our girl time. We’d giggle together and sleep in the same bed and go out to eat and watch movies…the best days of my childhood for sure. Merry Christmas!

Incredible, Magnificent, Glorious, Stunning…Astounding!!! What a wonderful walk down memory lane…❤🎄❤️ my grandmother was very meticulous and loved to decorate for Christmas! I grew up w😅 the bubble lights, the ceramic Santa drink set, celluloid reindeer…I still have my mother’s first Santa ornament from the 30s, her celluloid Santa in his sleigh with his reindeer and I have my wind up metal Santa who turns the pages of a book! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this soooo much!!! Hands down, this is the most astounding Christmas decorated house I have ever seen or ever will see!!!! At 4:30 minutes you pointed to the plastic starburst ornaments--I have them, too! Even after the loops broke off the top, I stick them in between branches! That tree was a masterpiece!! The angel tree inspired by Jason--I nearly spit out my water! What a punk you are! Jody could charge admission to a Christmas show house! Can't wait to see your rejuvenated feather tree!🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
