1:20 tops out at what? Try maybe ..just maybe 46 max.. downhill.. ..dry with that f250 sucking up the fuel like there's a hole in the tank.. My major pet peeves with this and the 228 is lack of storage.. and the console door is made for someone small to fit through. I'm 6' and little on the chubby side at 250..yeah..do some sit ups.... If you need to replace any raw water.. fresh water or bait pump ..as I have with only 1 1/2 years...the opening hatch in front of the motor will have you sending the kids away for the excess verbiage that will be expressed while changing them. Boat sits high in the water so people moving around while sitting still or even when underway.. you will defiantly know it, Keep your fingers close to the trim tab buttons. Anchor locker has a bulkhead that restricts the rode. Had to void the warranty to fit 250 ft in there with anchor. There is plenty of room for a larger fuel tank.. Especially in the 228. 90 gal don't cut the mustard here.. Would like to have 110 or 125 gal so we could make at least 3 trips without having to stop and fuel up. These 2 Commanders need to have more power. .. I took the Yamaha F200 off and put the 200 Yamaha SHO V6 on my 228 and had NIZPRO tune it to get 332 HP.. No need to put the 225 or 250 SHO on because they cost 1000's more for the same exact motor top to bottom. Only difference is the badging and the tuning.. Go with Nizpro tune... Fuel is so so much better now.. and top speed is high 50's Still.. Love the boat.. It is a very dry ride and not to bumpy in 2 - 3 ft depending how you drive, Hits the shallows pretty good.. I don't push it skinnier than 1 1/2 ft with tilted motor. Added a Rodan 36V it spot locks the boat so good.. haven't used the anchor offshore in some time now. The fit an finish is pretty good .. Major difference between the fit & finish now from back in 2004 with an older 22 ft Sea Fox I had., I guess if I wanted more bells and whistles ..would have to step up to the 26+ ft and higher.. but don't need that much... Just the little things they could improve on would be nicer.. even for a few bucks more.. Like put a tackle storage box on the starboard side of the console. Or just buy one at Boatfitters for a ridicules price as we did.. LOWER the leaning post/seat 4 inches because the steering wheel suicide knob will nut you many times

@@bigfishbri962 I'm not sure what that means? But the truth, regardless of your evident issues with Sea Fox, is the two boats are totally different and shouldn't be compared to each other.
