If you want to see more philosophical videos which really go into nitty gritty then I recommend 1. Swami sarvapriyanand (Advaita vedanta). Most of his videos are in English and really accessible. He is a very gentle personality and has a soothing demeanor. He has also been on podcast with sam harris, donald hoffman etc. There is a lot of comparative religion discussion as well. I can recommend a nice video if you want. 2. Vikas divyakriti He has been an educator for decades now and really has a nice way to teach. He mostly has a secular outlook. Different perfumes and fragrance evoke different emotions. It helps to meditate better. It's like adding sensory element in your surrounding to stay in calm and meditative state of mind. In ancient times when people used to get fever they would apply Chandan and camphor paste to cool down the body and bring the temperature down.

1. Different baba's apply different type of tilak. According to yoga shastra your temple of head and is considered holy and important (as you think with your brain) .Applying Tilak is a way to help stimulating your brain ( This isn't scientifically backed , This is just a traditional).

@@PakistaniReacts Chandan actually feels cold when applied so it gives cooling effect to mind and soul. Besides fragrance also affects the way mind and body feels . Different perfumes and fragrance evoke different emotions. It helps to meditate better. It's like adding sensory element in your surrounding to stay in calm and meditative state of mind.
In ancient times when people used to get fever they would apply Chandan and camphor paste to cool down the body and bring the temperature down.

Of course, I agree with you that every human being in this world has same potential. take an example you have the same potential of understanding as your parents have. but still you listen to them because they are more experienced person, they have seen more life than you not only parents you will listen to someone who is more mature and experienced in any field. but that doesn't mean that you cannot take any decision by yourself but taking their advice makes it easier to do any particular thing. so, consider Premanand maharaja as the experienced person in the field of wisdom and spirituality. people visit him to ask question related to sorrows and difficulties in their life and he answers it with the experience and spirituality. people of different religion in India visit him because he is not spreading any propaganda related to Hinduism, he just advice people and then it totally depends on the person how to imply it on life whether he/she wants to apply it or not.
on his forehead it is Chandan. it's cool in nature, so it helps to be calm. he is not a tantrik, tantrik are the ones who use spirituality to attain power in life to follow their worldly goals or for any personal purpose in life. he is a saint who usually don't do any insane level of spirituality he just lives life in a simple way and do daily religious practices like normal people but doesn't take any royalty in life. usually, saints do not grow any hairs and once it is grown, they don't cut it. and saints usually wears yellow or orange color. probably if you see monks in Buddhism or Sai baba in Sikhism even, they wear yellow or orange because these colors, acc to color the theory are symbols of detachment from luxuries and desires of world and reflects purity, knowledge and spirituality.
