This was my dad's song for my mom, I remember when I was a kid they used to sing this while both of them played the guitar, the blending was beautiful, I also remember when my dad used to sing this in the karaoke when we have family gatherings he would turn to my mom and they would act like they are still young. Now I always catch my mom playing this song in the guitar and in her phone when she miss my dad. Too bad my dad is already gone by the time I was old enough to play this song in the guitar. My husband and I actually accidentally met up with a more current iteration of the Platters upstairs at the old Aladdin Hotel in Vegas around 1 am probably in the early 90's! Just before we moved to Vegas in '95. It was heavenly of course!

I havent heard this song for a while. My grandmother, she used to listen to this song every morning, she had this cd. For everyday I used to wakeup with this song playing loudly. I memorized the whole songs on her playlist. It didn’t bother me anyway, then after 2 years, she stopped listening to the cd. And when i try to remember her playlist, i would get them all, except this one song. ☝️ My grandmother passed away last month and i miss her everyday. She was 82. She had a good life. That’s why when i first heard the song on the wandavison trailer, i teared up, bc it all came back to me- the memories. She was blind both eyes when she was in her 40s. She never even got to see us, her grandchildren but we loved her and we know she loved us.

This is the most hearthbreaking song for me.. it reminds me of my late granpa.. !! Everytime i hear this song i cried a lot.. i miss him so much😭😭😭

Beautiful dreamy love song, that is so catchy and has nice lyrics. That coupled to the excellent voice of the Singer and the chorus backing him, plus the well played music, makes it a joy to listen and enjoy.
My grandmother died, and this made me think of her. There's a pinch in my heart while listening to this song.

What an absolute pleasure to hear this miracle again
I havent heard this song for a while. My grandmother, she used to listen to this song every morning, she had this cd. For everyday I used to wakeup with this song playing loudly. I memorized the whole songs on her playlist. It didn’t bother me anyway, then after 2 years, she stopped listening to the cd. And when i try to remember her playlist, i would get them all, except this one song. ☝️ My grandmother passed away last month and i miss her everyday. She was 82. She had a good life. That’s why when i first heard the song on the wandavison trailer, i teared up, bc it all came back to me- the memories. She was blind both eyes when she was in her 40s. She never even got to see us, her grandchildren but we loved her and we know she loved us.

Ain’t sure hearing same thing every day same time would be very pleasant but this song can and will live longer than we’ll ever know. I cannot dress this in words but how the Platters did it, who ever wrote this song ? No wonder your granny played it, you don’t need eyes to see the dream. Your story/comment is as nice as the song.
