I use Nu-Brite, even though it is designed for condenser coils, I use it for evap coils all the time, it works great. Great video, thanks!
I have had really good success using Nu Brite on extremely dirty & neglected condenser coils. It does a super job of breaking up dirt & other crud.
Forty years ago, my boss would only let us use a mild evaporator coil cleaner on all residential coils. The cleaner we used was good for degreasing but would not attack the metals.
Dawn liquid soap and 409 mixed w/water will clean most coils just fine.
For slimy coils, Dawn mixed with bleach- then rinse with baking soda does fantastic to kill the bacteria.
The Alkaline cleaners are easier on coils for the heavier stuff.
Forget to wish you a happy New year love your videos
thanks for all the info you give the little guy !!
good video, greetings from argentina
Good info there Dr
Thank you
I have air conditioning in the kitchen covered in fat, you could use something else such as sodium carbonate and vinegar? And what is the alternative to liquid coil cleaner.
I'm looking for an evaporator cleaner that can brighten the coils , remove dirt grime and mold and that is safe for the coils itself . I currently use a mild detergent but it does not brighten the coils. It cleans pretty well and is mild. I also apply a mold killer product after I clean the coils. I guess I'm looking at improving the look and also productivity , time wiseAnybody ?
Nu brite, wear all safety glasses, and long sleeves if windy also, it is strong, and burns the skin, immediately,
Or use whatever is in the truck
Thnxs
Hi Doc I am wondering if you could make a video on wiring a motor 115-230 volt how to change from low to high voltage very confusing to me.
Happy New Year to you too. I do have videos that show how to wire motors. Check out the one where I replace a Bard condensing motor and in another I remove and clean the indoor blower.
thanks
Hello docta, I just wanted to say that
You can email me a request. My email address is in the video description. I'll be happy to email it to you.
like drz says the right one for the job , there are many many , i can say i tried from baker dist , TRI POWER HD , that was not good to me my opinion , so later on i needed more so i tried from baker again PRO RED PLUS , i can say this one is very powerfull , so good i diluted it like 10 to 1 just cleaning the inside of alluminium rims where the wheights were glued trying to get em cleaned before i get new tiires ,well i can say i made a bad mistake on my part thinking it was diluted enough anyhow it distroyed the anodized finish on my rims ,on the oposite side thats how strong this stuff is , my fault of course between the weight glue and the cleaner i guess i made a hell of a mess .. just saying ,,,nice vid dr z thanks for taking the time to do it and share ,,,,hello becky and kids be well
Ny brite, lol, just make sure to have a hose ready, cUse if to strong, cond coil will start to smoke lol
