The hallmark of a true expert is NOT devising perfect plans that never go wrong, its being able to quickly deal with situations when things _don't_ go according to plan.
If that first one didn't have that goofy spare tire carrier, it would have been way easier to carry. That red one had the setup you like, a receiver hitch.
Need to make a new bar at the end. One where it has a notch so the trailer hitches can sit in there and not slide all over the place. Maybe 1.5 inches on each side to give for turning. Just a suggestion.
Thank you for your service sir, looking forward to your next visual! I'll be launching a monster 4x4 XJ build which will be insane. If ur into that stuff, shoot me a follow !
ever thought about mounting a trailer ball coupler upside down ( or a pendleton ring) on your tow bar then people who are getting towed that have a receiver hitch flip the ball ( or the Pendleton hook) upside down and lift them up at that point????? no sliding
alot of trash talk from seatcover now day, but we all know blondie will have noting on the OG offroad wrecker on YT. That red gmc is badass and always gets the job done

Wild idea, weld a hitch to your bar then in situations like this you can slide it in the towed vehicles receiver.

Eric is building Blondie. It will be just as tough as the Red Wrecker.
run the chains thru the clevis so it can't shift side to side
Mint
Put that 4x4 wood under the hitch and the truck you towing and less chance of it doing that 30years of towing I might know a few things
I enjoy your videos but it is definitely time for a camera upgrade. Very slow to focus and far too little definition.
