What a great camp. I was up at Loch Etchachan in April with plenty of snow on the higher ground. It was probably my best camp ever. I can’t wait to get back and hopefully with snow on the ground

I knew this video would be a good one Murchie👍 Have to say the Cairngorms is so much more better for camping in the winter. I’ve camped at Geldie Lodge in summer and had the frustration of dealing with the midges. Must be nice enjoying the Cairngorms scenery with some snow on the higher ground. You picked a nice route and a very nice location for your first cold weather camp this winter. Here’s hoping for similar conditions with maybe a little bit more snow on the ground😃 Take care.

Nice one Robert - loving the wee Lochan location even though it looked a bit on the chilly side!...some nice Vango kit and the Mirage looks like it can a hadle a bit of a beating, and the whisky of course 😜...great location, great camp, great film...I fancy a proper snow camp this year, early next if we get a good dump of snow but maybe not too high up if you want? ❄❄👍👍

@@murchiesmountains2820 thanks for replying, last time was there was in 2019 when did the 9 highest mountains in UK which are in Scotland for 4 charities we raised 4000 pounds for total. Done many hikes in Europe and other places but Scotland is always awesome.

Great tent the mirage pro,i set mine up on a groundsheet (oversized) then when tent is pitched i tuck the groundsheet up between the inner and outer,works really well,just another layer of protection in bad weather,its pretty bombproof,and id would definitely buy another,never had an issue with it 👍
