What’s the greater thing that God has been calling you to do?

Jesus is The Truth, our Gate to the Father, great story and journey, showing that as this verse in Proverbs Chapter 3 said:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding"
Truly an example of loyalty to the most High
With this much hope and prayer you will soon be very big in the YT scene!

This is an awesome story. God always meets us where we are, also, He reveals his Spirit en many different ways.
I always thought God would do great things through me, but I recently was faced with the reality that no deed made with the intent of glorifying Gods name is too little. As I sat in my living room after dedicating my new home to Christ, my daughter invited a friend, that invited a friend to do a Bible study. I was amazed of how they spoke of Jesus with such passion, and later I was able to answer some of their questions and they even ask for some of my old notes! It was so special to see my not so baby, baby girl helping her friends find a way to Christ!

That is absolutely incredible, Nitza! Proud mom moment right there! Congratulations on the new home and I’m so excited to hear how God is using your daughter in such a powerful way. I love your perspective on how no need made with the intent of glorifying God is too little. Thank you SO much for sharing!

pretty sure he meant via his holy spirit enabling you to do things such as casting out spirits, speaking in other languages, prophesying, etc.

The only thing i dont like about this video is they say in the bible to not test god

Man you bring up such a great point! I thought the same thing literally 3 weeks ago, so I dug into this. You’re quoting Matthew 4:7 (do not put the Lord God to the test”). BUT ALSO, in Malachi 3:10, it says: “Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty”
There are examples like this all in the Bible… so how can both be true?
When you look it up, the word “test” has two different meanings often used in The Bible.
Test: Version 1 (the one the Bible encourages us to do): To discern/prove
Version 2 of Test (the one the Bible says *not* to do): to challenge [God]
      - In the reference you’re quoting, God delivered the ppl from Israel through the Red Sea, yet the people “tested” God’s character/actions by complaining and challenging his intention
Of course, don’t feel led to believe me, dig into it yourself. It’s just so awesomely crazy you made this comment because I literally dug into this over the last 3 weeks. Thanks for the comment! Completely okay for us to question what we believe and dig deeper. Thank you for this!
Maybe there other stuff I’m missing, but I love learning and digging in more. Appreciate you!

the word used for greater in that verse is the same word used in the "Father is greater than I" verse.
the meaning of the verse isnt greater than Jesus' godly abilities, but greater in quantity than Him as He was to return to heaven with His Father.
I'm not dismissing your testimony, just encouraging people to not take everything they hear at face value, even from me.
    God Bless my friends

how do I know what God is calling me to do?

    • @sunbright5982
      @sunbright5982 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

He did say to "ask and you shall receive" but telling him you don't know and being vulnerable and thankful to him is how to get closer with him

@izannic33 | First of all, absolutely LOVE your question. It's such a powerful question, and the *right* question to ask. So many years ago, I heard a 6-hour series that changed my life on calling. However, the same people that led that message, summarized it in 10 minutes just last month. What they share in this message message is what I fully believe & agree with. If we crossed path outside of the internet, this is the conversation I would've love to have with you. Thankfully, there's a much better communicator & a very brief answer to your question, here. I'm gonna to give you the direct link to the exact place on TH-cam where they start talking about it and answering your question:

      Brilliant, brilliant question @izannic33
