I'm late af. However from the comments here, this is a perfect example of the difference between what many people over seas dont understand about krump. We are not looking to be wowed by endless tricks and choreography, that's great but it's not krump. People want to feel something when somebody is getting off and this is what rexx does. Trix is dope and I've seen him do better but the overhype yall are talking about is non existent and shows a lot of ignorance. Krump came from the streets and throws away a lot of conventional wisdom when it comes to dance. This is a dance for people to truly express themselves, not impress judges at a conservatory.

Your comment is very true for people who don't understand krump but kill offs come from concepts, material, and musicality which Rexx lacked in comparison to Trix. The one thing that Rexx did have was getting live, but that's one out of four things. Trix had three out of four
@@dedge2570 Kill offs happen over a period time, everything going right for a person in a battle. The magic happens when you can seamlessly go from one to the next and it comes off NATURAL, Im a fan of trix and I've seen him do better. His first round was solid but it felt very planned, practiced. Ill give you that it took Rexx a while to start up and he had some dead air towards the middle of his round but when he picked it up he went off and that got him the W in my eyes. Its not to downplay trix at all, I just need him to come harder with the buck that he had towards the end of his round.

When I see this battle, a couple of things come to mind:
1. What are we judging battles off of nowadays? Technique? GetOff? Combos? Character Portrayal? Levels? Maturity/Complexity? Musicality?
2. Why do we have to be sooo boujee with Hype in the KrumpWorld? We're all IN THIS TOGETHER SO EVERYONE SHOULD GET HYPED OUT.

Krump originated from US, they totally understand this krump than the choreographed looking unnatural stuff from other countries especially Europe that don't really understand krump. U don't blame the crowd they are use to seeing total raw krump that's why they dont know where all this over material, trix and hattrix will get u to the spiritual uplifting krump gets u to. Even when Americans are battling each other the crowd go dead on the one forming his amp cos krump is a spiritual thing to them than a fashion thing for other nations.

it it’s not boujee. In Krump yes sometimes hype is given to uplift like in all dance but tight eyez has literally said don’t ever beg for hype. It’s earned. To get hype u gotta do something hype worthy. Doesn’t mean it’s not good. But tried just didn’t build his way in a way that got him hype 🤷🏾♂️.

Bro you realize at the beginning of Rex round it was silent till he built up come on quit that bullshit. Niggas was quiet so much on his round but he new how to build and land in a good spot, AAAAND not choreograph his whole round shit was organic and raw. Which is wtf Krump is. Kill of is nice but not when it’s kill of them kill of them kill of them a bit of raw then kill of combo kill of combo. They got hype for Rex at the end and in certain parts where he went off cuz he earned that shit. Trixx came in right of the bar with a combo and kill of to a lyrical song like he was doing choreo and did it the whole round

He could've had a million killoffs but Krump is way more than creative Trix we wanna feel the holy ghost being pulled out of us. Hell a simple spin and arm swing if timed right with the the right attitude and emotion behind it will win a battle and set us off

This reminds me of Outrage vs Rowdy Eyex. Like Rowdy, Trixx came with material and tech while Outrage and Rexx with essence. However, unlike Outrage, Rexx's round seem like a session round wherein you're given unlimited time and you can almost do anything without being judge like you're in battle. I'm not mad about the decision though I can fully understand why others are complaining.

This is my favorite Rexx battle period.... I felt everything he did in my soul. I could care less if he was getting off or not. His round spoke to the God in me. Not to be racial but REXX's round explains "A LOT" abt black folks and what makes us...us!! What Rexx did is exactly why Aliens would abduct us and try and figure out how to harness it but never will be able to. Shout out to those who understand what I'm talking abt!!! We are def a rare breed

If not then 2 rounds with 2 songs. Also watch the time and don't let the crowd decide.
No diss on Rexx but it felt more of a studio session. He had lots of pauses and was a bit sloppy at times, kind of like he was experimenting on stage. No problem with that experimenting but it didn't feel put together enough. The only thing he had on Trixx was that raw feeling in this battle.

Both did amazing but I’ve seen trix do way better than that and Rex was just too buck on this one. And also I’ve seen others that get off like Rex and win battles and talking about konkrete beast ugly fate etc. And remember tight eyes called it over it had nothing to do with the crowd

Feel like they hyped rexx up more...I would've liked to see another round... Consistency is key plus rexx danced for almost 6 mins 😩,.... Great battle though

As a Rexx head and somebody's who's been around since most of y'all were in Elementary, he's done that last move before. In a battle years ago. Does it count if most of the people watching currently has never seen it before? Haha idk He won the battle but Trixx is coming for a LOT of people's head. He was so good.
Rexx was way overhyped and spiceal treatment. And danced as long as he wanted he could of danced all night and they would of let him were are the rules at ? Anyone can win if the dance twice the time limit as there other opponent because they need to in order to win. I don’t like seeing spiceal treatment I like to see Fare judging. 20 seconds in you knew no matter how great trix was he still was going to lose . They already had there mind made up who they wanted to win. I don’t want to see beast camp turn into a Unfair competition . Rexx had mad slips ups and he stopped a lot took he’s time was tired sloppy. I thought trix won. Hands down. Hurts to see this kinda thing in Krump even more so in beast camp.

For those commenting below, this wasn't a judged battle. Both dancers had two rounds, but it was Eyex that called it.
They got to pick their own tracks, no time limits. Only the tournament rounds had a time limit and set judges.
