I can't find the measurements for the white panel that goes in the window. In your review I see that it can extend but I'd like to know what the smallest and longest measurement is for that panel (my windows open right to left not up and down)

Nice job! I just got mine however, in auto mode , the fan stays on all the time. Even when it hits the temp on the unit. You know if that’s how it’s supposed to be?
I got one too, and mine does not do this.
I just got one and the instructions say the fan stays on after it hits temp on auto.

mine is incredibly loud and noisy with a mechanical sound I can't live wtih - does it sometimes take a while to go away or is mine just defective?
Id probably exchange it… I just bought mine 3 days ago and it’s pretty quiet. I’ve seen pretty often though it’s common that someone these are defective out of the box. So far, it’s been great though for my wife and I.

Can you use this as a heater?
There is one model that do that but this one doesn't do it
Tilting it back & forth while running it you have destroyed it's longevity the oil & refrigerants need to settle before turning it one. You took years off it's life.
What should u do when u first buy it then just let it sit while off for a few days?
