Kevin should be penalized for plowing through Erhan who was clearly defending his good start taking 1st from the outside. A GT3 race car is not a bulldozer.

@@baschabermain You're not supposed to LET people pass you. Giving someone space is asking to be overtaken. Until there's a car intersecting the left or right of your position, you defend it in any way you can, safely. If someone decides to ignore the fact that there's a car in front of them, that's on them.
@@chev9208 I didn;t watch the whole race because I wasn't interested after seeing how amateur the drivers were. I simply responded based on the original comment. Hitting the apex is not being wreckless unless the overtake has already started. If the overtaking car has not come alongside yet(i.e. is still behind you), there is nothing wrong with following your defensive line, which includes hitting the apex of a turn. Plowing through someone, and then claiming they jumped into your way, simply because you didn't want to take the slower race line, is about as amateur as it gets. Quite ironic that the person defending amateurish driving is calling someone dumb. Glass houses dude.
@@Kultivater If you had eyes you'd have seen that kevin is on the brakes the second that erhan pulls infront of him. Erhan did not leave room and paid the price, Kevin did nothing wrong. Watch for yourself, as soon as Kevin realizes that Erhan is going to put his car in front Kevin is on the brakes 100%. What happens from there is what happens when you pull in front of a fast moving car into a braking zone. There's defending your position and there's pulling in front of someone, what happened here is clearly the latter. There was miles of space on the outside, and if you give up some ground into t2 you get the inside of t3 and t4. Sooo
This race was a disgrace - complete and utter destruction derby.

He was there because he won the Real Racing 3 competition. I didn't watch the whole process, but I can't believe he made it to the final. He didn't look very quick.

Well , you can actually Race with a Controller . I play with a 360 Controller at the moment because I don't have the money for a Wheel, and can allways keep with the pack and race Clean.

This is what happens when you race without a care for your SA rating or car damage. Embarrasing really. They need to make some changes to the rules for sure.
So not only do the finalists have no racecraft or awareness to speak of, but as a cherry on top even the fastest guys are pretty slow when it comes to proper sims like this. Nice... This was painful to watch.

That first contact at turn 2 was a straight up rookie move I'd have gone right over to him and poked him clean in the eye for that, it was clearly obvious that sticking it up the inside like that with practically 2 wheels on the turf there was always going to be contact. How they even qualify for a event like this I will never know with that kind of driving. You'd expect better than that for a "Televised" event so to speak.
