Hi i have had the bluetooth only model for about 6 weeks now. I love it. It is comfortable to wear (i have a large wrist that helps), tracks sports easily. If i turn off the always on display i get nealry 3 days between charges. Charging takes about 30 mins from 10% to 100%

Having tested myself and seen reviews of many smartwatches for years. There are only two watches I can really recommand. Garmin forerunner 965 and Huawei Watch GT3PRO. Get the garmin if you more into sports and have a larger budget. Get the Huawei if you like style, built materials, basic functions and have a lower budget. Both watches have very accurate tracking and battery.
yeah the S1 pro never got updated.. sill 11 months in nothing no new watch faces.. no 3rd party apps to get any watch face. Like they just forgot it. So I would go with Huawei or Amazfit gtr 4
@@Danny-BigD Amazfit Balance now ;) But so far, good experience with Amazfit. My GTR 4 got regular updates and the Balance finally has NFC, so an use it for wireless payments.
Hi thx for the awesome review. Ive been wearing this watch for under a month now. Always been a fan of the xiaomi universe. Im very satisfied with this as compared with my galaxywatch 5 based on 2 reasons: Battery Life & Sync with Mi Fitness App without any other conditions (like how Samsung holds u ransom to own a Samsung phone in order to utilise all the functions properly...blegh). The fitness and health functions on this watch is really great, it even has that body temperature reading that ACTUALLY works on the watch itself (unlike samsung's still empty promise) Stylistically, it's a beautiful watch, nothing extraordinary, although i still like the sleekness of the galaxy series. But my main gripe is 2 things: the hefty size and weight, which can be felt when wearing it and also the lack of size choices, as it comes with only 1 size. So people with smaller wrists may find it really out of place wearing it. Lucky enough for me, i fall in the middle category of wrist size, it still looks big though, but I've gotten used to it. My overall rating for this watch 8/10. I would personally recommend this over a Galaxy. Ouh, before i forget...battery is GREAT, although Xiaomi, i hope u could do 1 better with the charging port...it still is a dot click kind, lets step it up with the magnetic kind next round ya! Cheerios! Highly recommended watch where u can wear it and not think abt getting a same brand phone. Its a freeeee world!!! Hahahahha!
Just bought it after owning Galaxy Active 2 and Galaxy Watch 4 classic for about 4 years, it's a great upgrade at a very reasonable price. Wish I could have found the TicWatch 5 PRO or Enduro at that price, but it'll do fine.
I will definitely be getting this to match with my newly acquired Xiaomi 13T Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6. BTW TH-cam Music is great and it saves an extra subscription to Spotify.

See im here to see if the new model of xiaomi watch has fixed its issues with the heart rate monitor or energy level monitor as the s1 watch that i have me and lots of people have had and still have issues with those issues for many years with no wear os update ever came through meaning if your saying the new watch still has these issues all these years later then those issues are unlikely to ever be fixed meaning i will not be upgrading yet until i see those issues permanently fixed for the community
Really wish I had waited and got something like this watch than the Fossil Gen 6 last year (or when ever it was). When I got the thing it wanted to install wearos 3 a week in and I instantly lost access to google assistant and battery life could hardly make it through a single 18hr period.

They're both great options, and you really can't go wrong with either one. They're priced the same, I think, and that's where the big differences lie. The Amazfit can do almost everything the Xiaomi can, but and excels in battery life, but actually falls short everywhere else. The Xiaomi has wear OS, so much more apps, including Google apps like maps, Waze and Google Wallet. While Amazfit has a payment app, it's nowhere near supported as Google Wallet. The Xiaomi also has an LTE version, which allows you to go running and leave your smartphone at home, and not worry about missing calls, or being unreachable or isolated in case of emergencies. I personally like the design of the Amazfit Balance more, but not enough to pick it over the Xiaomi.
What watch would you suggest for casual use(spotify listening and have some fun features). Xiaomi 2 pro , pixel 2 , huawei gt 4 or a galaxy 6 ? I'm with the 7pro phone and atm the old Pixel watch 2 has some random problems with it.
Do not buy xiaomi they do not respect privacy. Their app is the only solution and you need to accept to give your data to make it work unless it don t even give you the time !

Mi Fitness application counts steps (Data source) from the phone Redmi Note 11 and smart watch Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro together so the walking data (step count) is duplicated. Any chance to fix this BIG problem.
@@thabiso_morele not sure about the 3, but on the GTR 4/GTS4 and the new Balance, you can. You can transfer mp3 files onto the watch and play them. No support for music streaming apps though as their watches aren't running wearOS.
I ordered this watch, it's a great looking watch with Wear OS . Unfortunately it's drawback is the lousy Health tracking and sleep tracking. I hope they can/will improve this with a software update. It's useless for people who want good health tracking
Hello ! I liked the review about that smartwatch. What i really need and want to know is the NFC method payment through the watch, because i have ING debit card(Maestro) and most of the NFC works only with Mastercard which requires CVC(that security code) when you have to install on Mi Fitness App. for that watch, because for ING is not required that CVC, so i must know for sure if it's possible to use the NFC funcion for payments with Google Wallet ? which i have it also through my Samsung S22 Ultra ! I really like that smartwatch and i want to buy it, is not expansive but it must worth the cost if it has Google Wallet included as i saw in the video ! I mostly have it to see who is calling as I ride motorcycles a lot. Then attend calls when I am working and not taking the phone with me (fold3) which is a bit heavy for morning runs.
the case is stainless steel, the glass I think is gorilla glass 5, but I'm not sure, it's definitely not sapphire. Not too sure about the back, it doesn't say anything on the specs.
@@vakama94 Thanks for the information. Admittedly it uses a proprietary OS, but the Xiaomi S1 Pro does appear to have superior build quality together with a very long battery life.
@@terrym540 that is correct, my guess is that this Watch 2 Pro is Xiaomi testing the waters to see if there's interest in WearOS, at which point they would probably invest in something with better specs.

Well, at least it is lighter than the Samsung galaxy watch 6 classic and has a better battery than most top end Smart watches for a much better price too..
I bought this watch but had to return it. Maybe I had the wrong piece, I don't know, but the battery only lasted about 12 hours and that was in flight mode (disable WIFI, GPS, BT), laid in the box. I thought I had some app stuck or something, but even after a factory reset it didn't fix it.
Hope they keep a line with their own OS. I don't want to have to charge my watch every day. Only to have some extra features you probable don't ever use.

Nope. Its 32 GB. The actual storage will be less though.
