@@aliyahsky1 just type the imam Ahmed ibn hanbel series in TH-cam. They have uploaded only few episodes with official English translation. What I did was I first downloaded all the Arabic version of the series from TH-cam and downloaded subtitles from a separate website. You can use that downloaded subtitle both in TH-cam or in your downloaded videos by selecting the downloaded subtitle through your media player. Ask me if you need any help
I am not so good at tech will wait for the series to be uploaded with subtitles I know the history but watching it touches a persons heart

Yesterday it came on TH-cam recommendation, Imam Ahmad Al Hanbal series but I decided to learn about him through this video. Mash Allah Subhanallah! What a great Imam he was and I am more impressed with the fact that he memorised the Quran,Hadith, Islamic knowledge in just 15 years old!?! 😱 May Allah grant our youth to be as strong, honest, brave with best Islamic knowledge and character like him.
I really recommend you the series. It is a very good series describing the situation the Imam went through for the sake of Ar-Rahman and it is so heartwarming watching it 👌 Try it and you'll be addicted to it ;)

Understanding Tawheed and the authentic narrations is crucial.

No brother he is right. We are not obligated to attach ourselves to one of the madahib. As long as you follow the Sunnah and learn from the Scholars.
But it is strongly advised to follow a madhab because we do not have the knowledge and time to gather authentic ahadith

Along with Imam Ahmad another Scholar by the name of Muhammad Ibn Nuh who was Imam Ahmad’s friend did not yield however he died on the journey back to Baghdad after news of Mamouns death. Hence only Imam Ahmad remained
