As someone who still rewatches your old TF|2 videos from 3+ years ago because they are gold, I would personally argue that what made these videos great was because you, or at least appeared like you, were having fun and enjoying yourself. In my opinion, your best videos are generally never treading the same ground. In some videos you try out a ridiculous loadout or concept, some are highlights or steam clips of a particular moment, and others are VODs of a game that YOU wanted to play. Titanfall 2 may have been where you started, along with League, however what makes most of your videos and your streams great is your sense of humor, interacting with stream chat, and having fun and chatting with your mates, regardless of what the game you were playing was. Although I still play both Apex and TF|2, having played both since launch and still love them to death, I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend forcing yourself to play these games, or any other, if you aren't enjoying them. Games are meant to be fun (even if you are challenging yourself to complete some grueling task like using the suppressed wingman), and if you aren't having fun then there's little point to playing the game.
It also stands that a streamer who actively dislikes the game they are playing will not turn out the best content because that dislike will be obvious. This is a disservice to their brand & the goodwill they have cultivated by putting out great content prior to burning out on the game. Saw the same thing with Frothy. If a game is no longer fun, pulling the ripcord on that game is the best thing to do for their sanity & health of their channel. Be at peace @Vaughny.

All journeys end, and hell, as simple as it was, it was as good an epilogue I could have asked for. No flashy goodbye, no overt action insanity. The legend himself returns! It honestly stings to see I can't hit shots like I used to but the new wave of players brought in by Steam has made it somewhat bearable to get back into the flow of things. Looking forward to more videos with games you're into!
It was the new players that killed it for me unfortunately. When I picked up the game, people seemed to have this kinda etiquette where everyone knew what was cheese or unfair and people rarely if ever used those things, which made it fun and sportsman like for me. The new wave never developed with the community and didn't know about this stuff, so everyone I run into now is decked out in as much cheese as they can fit in one class. Devotions, smart pistols in the back pocket, amped wall in the front pocket and point blank frag grenades coming outta every orifice I can deal with them; Like I'm mot the kinda guy to just complain and not learn how to adapt against them, but its still not as fun because adapting to those people requires me to make a class built entirely to deal with them and that ruins things a bit. But on the flip side I'm stoked that Titanfall 2 finally got a big player base and good recognition so I'm not too down over not wanting to play. I'm kinda hoping if a TF3 ever comes, it'll have the feel of TF|2's first year of life, but the sequential years playerbase. That'd be amazing

I loved the Titanfall community at the start, there would be games where I would just feel like using the p2016 or the re45, and then all the other players would start using it, it would be so much fun. I have just gotten back into it (my Xbox broke down a few months ago, now I am on PS4) and I forgot how to slide jump. But the new players (although welcome) are pretty annoying, it's literally just spitfires and tones. They are not even moving, it's pretty annoying. Best thing is tho, they have no idea about cloaks lol

I burnt out from playing it so frequently when the endgame (for me, at least) became about chasing cosmetics and solo-queue Frontier Defense to the point where TF2 just got so stale that I moved back to Destiny. A big issue that multiple game’s fandoms suffer from is that if a creator that is known for playing that game uploads anything else, everyone will yell that the creator should got back to the original game In my opinion, you shouldn’t sub to someone simply because they play a certain game that you like, rather you should sub to them for the person who plays that game. Coincidentally, A different game with the abbreviation TF2 also suffer from that issue, but much, much worse. It gets so bad that multiple content creators have announced that they dislike the community of that game because the creator can’t venture off into different games So good on you, Vaughny, for getting away from that shit.

Your videos from 3 years ago were what inspired me to keep playing the game and start using the sidewinder, I was kinda sad when you stopped playing Titanfall 2, but I understand that sometimes you get tired of constantly playing the same game, that happened to me too. I know you’re probably not gonna read this since it has been a while since you posted the video, but that’s my fault, I got the notification yesterday but since I read “Titanfall 2” I immediately thought it was from Smurfson, another Titanfall youtuber, and decided to watch it later, but when I saw a post on Reddit today I regreted that decision.
Saw this video and it gave me a huge smile to see Vaughny play TF2 again, but then it made me kinda sad since he's as burnt out on the game as I am. TF2 is just so depressing to play now given the state of the franchise. No new updates, no balance changes, no sequel. Just another great franchise that's dead in the water because the developers moved on to something infinitely more profitable. Now all that's left of the Titanfall community are the people who want to keep the dream alive even though they fully well know that it's a lost cause.

A big issue that multiple game’s fandoms suffer from is that if a creator that is known for playing that game uploads anything else, everyone will yell that the creator should got back to the original game
In my opinion, you shouldn’t sub to someone simply because they play a certain game that you like, rather you should sub to them for the person who plays that game.
Coincidentally, A different game with the abbreviation TF2 also suffer from that issue, but much, much worse. It gets so bad that multiple content creators have announced that they dislike the community of that game because the creator can’t venture off into different games
So good on you, Vaughny, for getting away from that shit.

Your videos from 3 years ago were what inspired me to keep playing the game and start using the sidewinder, I was kinda sad when you stopped playing Titanfall 2, but I understand that sometimes you get tired of constantly playing the same game, that happened to me too. I know you’re probably not gonna read this since it has been a while since you posted the video, but that’s my fault, I got the notification yesterday but since I read “Titanfall 2” I immediately thought it was from Smurfson, another Titanfall youtuber, and decided to watch it later, but when I saw a post on Reddit today I regreted that decision.
Saw this video and it gave me a huge smile to see Vaughny play TF2 again, but then it made me kinda sad since he's as burnt out on the game as I am. TF2 is just so depressing to play now given the state of the franchise. No new updates, no balance changes, no sequel. Just another great franchise that's dead in the water because the developers moved on to something infinitely more profitable. Now all that's left of the Titanfall community are the people who want to keep the dream alive even though they fully well know that it's a lost cause.
It seems to be, but maybe one day it won't just be a dream anymore.

@@soulemnthegreat9557 yeah man, summer of 2017, I spent 9 hours a day in private lobbies learning to get insanely good with grenade only kills. And never used the projectile arc tracker, I used to be able to get to the top of any lobby with grenade only kills. I bet I couldn't get to the top running devotion now days.

I love your stuff because your editing style is just so unique and fun, and it never really seemed like you were making videos for anyone but yourself. I'm glad to see that you were able to establish a following over the years even with TF2 not being a super popular game because it's a good example of the fact that if you put enough love and work into something, people will end up liking it. I definitely agree that if you're done with the game it's time to move on, though I can't say I'm not sad to see you leave. To be honest, the Titanfall 2 experience you share are enjoyable ones, and it was fun for me to watch people enjoy the game. It's a shame that you won't make anymore Titanfall 2 vids, but it's understandable. Games are meant to be played for enjoyment. If it's stale for you, then there's no need to force yourself to continue playing it. We all move onto other things; it's normal.
Enjoy your time with the games you want to play, not the ones others want you to play. For me, the best experiences that I like to watch are ones that people genuinely enjoy.

When I was super into TF|2 3 or so years ago I couldn't play a whole lot because I was in a bad spot and wifi was garbage, like literally I would have had better luck plugging some wires into a plastic cup but anyway your videos kept me in high hopes and kept me interested in playing TF|2 so thank you for keeping me sane with videos on one of my favorite games of all time. But I do understand you wanting to move on because I felt the same. I was sad because one of my favorite games was getting boring! But still thank you a thousand times for helping me out.
