Just finished watching. First time seeing him tonight. Typed _British stand-up comedy full_ on the youtube search bar. Clicked on him because he has that "intellectual" look, like he has that "deep-in-thought" eyes. Wow! I did NOT expect to be so right on the money! He talks like a philosophy or psych major and I'm ALL for that type of conversationalist. A rather stark departure from the more vulgar & plebeian american standup (don't get me wrong, i also love american humor). *#AlfieBrown** is my NEW fave now and will be binging him this month and the next!* 💜💪🏼🖤 I just wished the crowd was INDEED "better" in this one. 🙄
Having seen Alfie on the Have a word podcast i was inspired to watch this special. Alfie is one of the best comedians out there at the moment. Intelligent and insightful comedy that had me rolling round on the floor. WATCH IT NOW!!!
At 15 minutes he spoke of a truth I’m surprised 😮 Living and dying are the same and to live and die is so to start and end something without conflict. It is the true beauty of life 🤯

I absolutely love his opening gambit. If you blink, you will probably miss a lot of his comedy. The white wizard harry potter joke totally went over this audience's head.
Damn. I had no idea that me following the rabbit hole of - a TikTok I saw on Reddit of two young posh middle class lads taking the piss out of British documentarians with clear Chris Morris influences would lead me to - Horatio Gould on TH-cam, one of said lads in said videos. Horatio is a stand-up himself but has a podcast called Boys Gone Wild. The episode that had the most views featured the guest - Bebe Cave, sister to Jessie Cave. I find out Jessie Cave enjoyed some moderate mainstream success with Harry Potter, but was ultimately more of an indie artsy all-rounder outside of that, having published a novel and done a stage show of her own, which involves the break-ups and reunions with her husband - Alfie Brown, who also happened to be a guest on young Horatios podcast, united as they are by their love for the two sisters (or in Alfies case, perhaps the same ones exactly haha) Which ultimately lead me here, and now I'm going to work on 4 hours sleep because this special was too good to turn off part way through and come back to. Some experiences are worth a little sacrifice of sleep to just enjoy. I properly rated that. I know for a fact I'm going to be trying to foist this special on to as many people as possible (so I can lay claim to THEIR cultural capital, should Alfie ever hit the mainstream). Thanks Alfie. I will see you in Manchester whenever you're next here 100%
He’s in a class more or less of his own. Seen this show 3 times now and still roared throughout. I’ve followed his career from the start and he goes from strength to strength
