After completing that you can check off whether or not you want your information sent to the NWS to be registered as a volunteer spotter! However, some areas require a more specialized class after that first "class" thats more tailored to your region. MetED also has a whole bunch of other free courses you can take later on!

Not because you will learn nothing from it, but because a lot of what you do learn will be inaccurate and may get you killed as a result. You may be more or less confident in your ability to do something due to what you learned from this game, which means you can either die or end up missing something super good because you thought you WOULD die when you wouldn't.
