Johnny Contardo could sing big time..I hated that show but would sit and watch johnny whenever he sung..I sat and watched the whole show,LOL..I have seen him sing lately and the man still has it big time..Even in his sixty's the man can hit all the notes..Johnny you are the man with a grand voice

My father leased the hotel nightclub near a famous venue for singers. The Mills Brothers were appearing at Panther Hall and graciously agreed to sing a couple of songs for the hotel patrons, this was one and Paper Doll was the other.. It was quite an experience for a kid and this song always reminds me of it.
