Since the microfiber cloth didn’t work, try using an old cotton t shirt to dry your hair instead. It works the same in that it’s much more gentle on the hair than a regular towel, and reduces frizz :) 💜
@@IsabellaDemarko Use flour-sack cloth. It's what I use in my salon because it only absorbs what you need it to & it doesn't cause frizz. Remember you don't want the towel to dry your hair just stop it from dripping. You need to use the gel to LOCK IN THE HYDRATION. This is the point of styling on wet hair.
I've got the exact same hair type with the exacte same hair color as her. Also trying this method and I really like it, the only problem is the frizz and I have to brush my hair in sections but it does detroy the curls a little bit.
I originally thought I had the same hair type too but I tried the curly hair method but drying my hair in a t-shirt rather than a diffuser and no products after curly approved shampoo and conditioner, my waves only lasted a day

Agreed. Honestly I learned so much from her. She does all that research, tries new things and shows the results. She is helping me while fixing her own hair too, I don’t think that makes her obsessive.
siri the mage aww thank u 🥰 Since you’re here watching this video, understanding the comments, I think you’re pretty good at English too, don’t underestimate yourself 💕
Ranch DuBois Exactly. Those people pissed me off! They were saying her hair is not wavy it’s just damaged. How the fuck does that work. If it’s damaged it becomes less wavy not more, clearly it’s her natural texture.
As a curly girl, I recommend putting a leave in conditioner before your gel so that it gets more moisturized. Luv u and hope the best for ur journey! Ur doing amazing!
This is a good tip, my waves were starting to get SO frizzy and dry and I had the most annoying fairy knots and I invested in Shea moistures curl smoothie and a new gel and the waves look and feel so much better! I put the smoothie in before my gel and only use the smoothie to refresh and my hair is no longer dry.
Tor's Asmr yeah. I also think the type of leave in has an affect. Hair milk leave ins are pretty light but still moisturizing enough for me and leaves my hair feeling really nice
i have the same hair as her but it’s SUPER oily which is really Hard to take care of because most curly hair products are for dry hair because it’s more common for people with curly hair to have dry here but I have really oily hair so I have to use straight hair products which doesn’t really do any good things to my hair so I don’t know what to do
sweety xxx well if u look at more water based light weight products they could work for u since u don’t need the extra moisture. For me not so much I have 3c/3b curls
You shouldn't use blasphemy, well if you are a Christian. Because I can't condemn you if you aren't! God bless you, I pray you are Christian! Jesus loves you all!
To everyone getting mad at her for saying “curly” and not “wavy” - you do realise that waves are a curl type???? Technically she would be more correct saying wavy but curly isn’t 100% inaccurate and it’s honestly not a big deal how she chooses to refer to her hair. It’s her hair. Her words. Not yours. Doesn’t impact you in any way shape or form so just... get over it.
I mean it can be her hair and her words all she wants, but if she calls herself bald despite growing hair this long, we don't have to say "she's bald. Her hair. Her words. Her rules. _Deal with it_ " like some generic sports commercial
I agree that the “curly” spectrum usually refers to the whole spectrum of texture, from the loosest waves to the tightest coils. So in that way, waves are definitely curls. However, there is a reason for the distinctions between straight to wavy to curly to coily or kinky, and I hope most people were just trying to inform. Waves are curls, loose curls! But they are loose, and I’m not offended by anyone trying to differentiate or make spaces for kinky, coily, more Afro-like curls as well as the looser waves and everything in-between by calling them different things to support specific spaces for all curls.
In general, the shorter your hair, the more curl it will have. When it is longer, the weight of your hair pulls the curl down. I suggest never ever using a brush. Finger combing is best, but if you really feel you need a comb, buy one with very wide spaces and hefty teeth. It is less likely to pull on your hair. Wishing you well.
Brush your hair before showering and once you are in the shower try to untangle it with your hands. Finally, once you are out of the shower, don't brush your hair, because you will break the natural curl and it will become frizzy, just put your hair products and let it dry naturally. I have curly hair and everyone loves my hair and they want me to tell them my "secret".☺ Maybe try it one day and tell me how it went.
@@biki1254 I don't do it and my hair looks actually amazing and it does not get frizzy. What I do is fluff my roots once I put all the products on my hair (which only consists in hair spray). I don't brush is after the shower, because you break your natural curl with a comb or brush.
WEVE BEEN TRYING TO TELL YOU!!! This makes me so happy to see you finally giving a proper go at it with the curly girl method. I’m so excited to see your progress one month from now and one year from now. I know I was amazed at my own head which went from beach waves to right ringlets. 💕
Don’t worry microfiber cloth towels aren’t meant to look like normal towels because they’re different materials and they’re much better for your skin and hair
There is a girl on TH-cam, Taylor Laois, who had you’re exact frizzy puffy hair, and has the most beautiful waves now. She posted a video about her hair journey if you want to watch
Wavey hair is NOTHING like having straight hair, but it’s also NOTHING like having curly hair. Lol people need to chill, took me forever to figure out that my super poofy frizzy “straight hair” was actually waves, and I couldn’t use the same products as my straight haired friends/mom. I also tried to follow curly gurl method of people with very curly hair and that just made my hair have more wave then before but was super heavy and flat, but was definitely a lot better then frizzball and breakage. Took a little while to tweak it to make it right for me, and was a little awkward for the 2/3 months it took for my waves to come back, but stick with it it’s worth it! I love my waves now and am so glad I finally figured shit out. If you have super frizzy “straightish” hair and can’t figure out why, ie not damage or anything, def try out curly gurl method and tweak it to what works for you, literally changed my life, I’m so much happier with my hair and it’s so much happier with me, and saved me so much time! All I have too do now is spray some water on it in the morning add a little bit more product and I’m good to go.
Wish I had had a vidoe like this tho, that was a couple years ago, feel like there’s a bunch of info/stuff for straight hair and info/stuff (not as much as straight tho lbh) for curly hair but not as much for wavy hair I feel.
Okay. So I also have type 2b/2c hair. I've been doing the curly girl method for maybe 8 months and had great results and I think I have a few pointers (haven't seen your more recent videos so I don't know if you've implemented these or not). 1. I always "plop" my hair for at least 10 minutes to dry it - you can look up tutorials for this. You can use either an old t-shirt (what I use) or a microfiber towel. After that you can either scrunch your hair with what you used to plop it or just let it down and leave it (what I do). In my experience scrunching afterwards gives smaller more defined curls while just plopping it leaves it in bigger but curlier curls. 2. I personally air dry and I like using mousse, but from what I know about diffusing, if you're diffusing with gel you should blow it around your hair first without touching the hair to set the gel and then go ahead and scrunch diffuse it. To really get the full result of diffusing you should probably get it completely dry with diffusing - I've seen girls let it mostly air dry and then diffuse it, I think the important part is getting it to the final stage with diffusing. 3. I also struggle with the front strands not being as curly. For me the big thing has been making sure I tuck them in properly when I'm plopping them, not touching them while they're drying, and allowing them to hang in front of my shoulders while trying not to disrupt them as they dry. Sorry for the length but I'm glad to see you've been going for the curly girl method, hopefully one of these tips is somewhat helpful!
@@anika5094 You can put in a leave in conditioner or something before you plop (or after), but any mousse or gel should go in after you plop. This is because you're supposed to 'rake' leave in through your hair, but with a gel or mousse you need to scrunch your hair up to help the curl structure and plopping after gel would break up the curls

i have a few tips as a curly girl myself: 1.the micro fiber isn’t used to really dry... first add your products while your hair is SOAKING WET then put the micro fiber towel on to absorb excess moisture. 2. when defusing dry it first to set the gel then use it to scrunch your hair then go in with your hands and a pick 3. use a denmin brush for max definition 4. use a bonnet or silk pillow case for less frizz. 5. don’t wash your hair often bc it’s going to keep getting oilier. oils are good but you need to basically train your hair. 6. don’t touch it so much bc it will get frizzy. 7. wash and style UPSIDE DOWN for volume.
XxsarahxX she already uses a silk pillow and scrunchie and uses the inversion method while washing, and has stated that she washes her hair every 3-4 days, just thought I'd let you know but thanks for all the tips! I have curly hair myself and I was wondering why the microfibre cloth SUCKED. Hope you have a great day/ night 💖✨🌙
Morgan jeffries exactly what i was gonna say. The brush is more for thick, very coily curls. I myself have curlier hair than hers but its very thin so id i (or she) used the brush it would just break the curls
@@yourlocalstudent5855 when you start drying your hair with a fan you should first dry the roots but not touch them, so dry it from a distance, then dry the rest of the hair by bringing you hair to the scalp with the head of the fan(the poky thing addition) but dont keep the head of the fan to long on your scalp becouse it t will run you pattern :)

I got curls during my first pregnancy. I was amazed that the curls I had as a toddler came back. Sadly I miscarried and shortly after the curls disappeared too.
I think that is happening with me as well. It is so freezy and messy with a feel curls trying to pop up. My sister's hair changed to curly naturaly one year ago. But is was so easy for her! She did not have to do anything. Since mine is taking so long and I had no success yet my family thinks I just have ugly hair and they want me to do a perm on it 😢 I try to tell it is trying to culr but they don't listen and make me fell like I am crazy 😞
I know right!? That's what I waz thinking, especially since we've seen her transformation. I'm so hooked to he hair journey. Can't wait for the next video.

@@-Annn- Haha yes, depending on what I do to it and what products I use, it can get pretty serious! I absolutely love it but sometimes I crave the look of *length* with my curls. I can only get that look when they are stretched (aka straightened). That's why I enjoy watching videos of other curly types who have much larger curl patterns _and_ length. I can't wait to see Isabella's hair grow out with the curls and waves. I'm actually a hair freak. I love allll hair types, textures and shades (especially naturally red, mine is jet black). It's a cool fiber on top of people's heads that has so much variation from person to person and is so much fun to do things with lol. Each type has its pros and cons depending on what you want to do, but are all beautiful nonetheless.💓
The amount of research you do , and the effort you put in to taking care of yourself is actually inspirational. Really appreciate you. Also youre very pretty.
When I saw her going through the DevaCurl I immediately started heading for the comment section to scream “NOOOO” but then she showed Ayesha’s video and I calmed down
Sude I was exactly the same XDDD I have wavy hair now but when I was a toddler I had naturally curly hair and just recently I’ve just fallen in love with my curly hair and wish I still had it I used a very standard shampoo my whole life but this shampoo can go either really right or really wrong for just about everyone so my hair got all frizzy and horrible- same with my older sister who also had natural curls as a baby I wish I could have them back cuz my face actually suits my curly hair (I once left in a French braid over night and the results were BEAUTIFUL- ) Thanks for reading if you read this far~
Oh boy! I have spent thousands of Rands curling my hair in my life. You are so lucky to have natural curl. Enjoy it Isabella. It’s looking spectacular with thanks from South Africa 🇿🇦
i think that your hair is just naturally wavy so there’s no need to spend so much money and diffusers and products and stuff bc it probably won’t make your hair proper curly. idk jus my opinion :)
Luiza finally someone said it .-. I don’t even think it’s that wavy, my sister has light wavy hair, almost straight. Judging by isabellas roots, I think her hair is honestly just a bit fluffy or bunched up around the mid to end of her hair, which is normal because she sleeps on it. As someone with naturally curly hair it almost makes me cringe seeing her go all out not realizing she’s just curling her hair without an iron xD (my sister does the same thing so I thought it was cute seeing someone else do it too). To my knowledge there are different types of straight hair, yes different types, also associated with genes too. I saw a picture explaining the hair shaft somewhere with different races, kind of why asians have pin straight hair naturally, and white girls tend to have hair like Isabella, still straight but not as straight. A bit fluffy and more volume.
@@obvioustroll3736 I would agree tbh, curly routine is for enhancing natural curly-wavy texture and that's why it has so many steps, because it's meant to be lasting and it just isn't doing that for her. It's not always down to race bc there's lots of white girls with curly hair but yeah, I don't think this is the routine for her.
@@obvioustroll3736 I mean if her hair looks good and she feels good, what's the big issue? I have 3a-3b hair and I go "all out" for it, even more than isabella at some parts and it makes my curls even curlier that sometimes I can get them to be as curly as 3c! If I dont do all he steps my hair will just be frizzy, and look like a cotton ball with minimum curls and I wont like it as much.but with products and extra strps, it's a whole different story. That doesn't mean "I'm forcing it" though, I'm just enhancing and encouraging my curls to their maximum...its kinda what isabella is doing with all these steps. shes just encouraging her hair to curl instead of just letting it poof or fall down in frizzy waves. I'm pretty sure if you take someone with wavy straight hair, it wont curl as much as hers no matter how many steps you do, because everybody's hair is different and some are just not curly!
CrayCrayAura I don’t care if her hair looks good or not, it’s not curly. She thinks it is, she wants to find out what her hair is, and she’s doing all that stuff because she thinks her hair is curly, when it’s not. Nobody said her hair is bad, just that it’s not curly. Her hair has been straight her whole life, scientifically speaking hair texture is that of how it grows out of the follicle and how the follicle is shaped. Her hair isn’t curly until/unless she does all of that extra stuff to it. That’s like me straightening my hair without heat and being like “well, I didn’t use a straightener so my hair must be naturally straight”
i’m so proud of all the money and effort you’ve spend towards your hair, your natural waves/curls are BEAUTIFUL please always keep your hair in its natural state because it looks best!!
I'm with you girl you'll having beautiful Wavy hair how it is supposed to be 🤚And I'm sure one day I'll get jealous of your hair I'm 11 years old😊😊😊😊😊😊 and ti be honest I have a mix of straight curly wavy hair
As A hairstylist with Curly hair my routine goes something like this: Wash & Conditon with Aveda Cherry Almond shampoo & Conditoner Leave some conditoner In my hair. The texture of curly hair is naturally dry so it requires more moisture. I dry my hair with a regular towel and squeeze out excess water. Lift and seperate each wave, GAMECHANGER PUT SOME LIGHT HAIRSPRAY IN YOUR HAIR!! SMALL AMOUNT!!SOUNDS MENTAL BUT IT WORKS!! SETS THE CURL WITH A LIGHT HOLD. ( I use Aveda air control) then followup and put a gel or curl cream in the palm of your hand ( I use Aveda Confixer or Be curly style prep) Use a good amount of your scrunching abilities , you should be lifting the hair putting the ends of your hair in your palms, bringing it up to your scalp and scrunching until your satisfied, then you DIFFUZZZEE! depending on your hair type it should only take you 5-7 min on a high heat low speed! Frizz is the enemy. To achieve volume dont be afraid to take the bristels from the diffuser and gently massage it into your roots in big and small circular motions. it wont hurt to do this because your moving around the natural oils in the hair and your creating volume through back and forth movement with the diffuser. Do a COOL shot for a minute with the diffuser in order to SET THE HAIR.you should dry your hair to 80% Only. 100% will loosen the curl, create heat damage and frizz and static. to finish up I use a bit of Dry shampoo on the roots only, in my hair to create more volume & prevent my hair from getting oily ( Aveda Shampure) Then heat relief to protect from damage and frizz. This sounds like a lot but its my morning routine and it takes me 10 min tops lol I work at an Aveda salon thats why I use the products I hope this helps
i’m so proud of you for finally embracing your waves! i know it’s been hard for you to accept that your hair isn’t straight? but wavy hair suits you! so proud. 💕

Yllektra Vantis yes! if you look up manes by mell here on youtube, she has a video demonstrating finger coiling and how it has helped her sister with hair similar to yours
My mom has extremely straight, easily tamed hair. I have thick, wavy bordering on curly and never properly learned how to care for it or style it. It's been a trial and error process. Thanks for posting!
hi sister dont give up! Just let your hair do it’s thing for a month or two and see what happens. If u don’t like the way your hair looks after the months have passed then try using the curly girl method. 💕💕
I’ve seen that video about deva curl and it isn’t a joke. My friend had gorgeous soft curly hair and now she had to shave it because it was that bad, her hair was falling out
I think this video has saved me years. I'm fifteen but I have almost exactly the same hair as you. Because of this video, I tried a simplified version of the method and turns out, my hair is very wavy or slightly curly. The fact that I wasn't taking care of it properly for my hair type explains why it wasn't growing. Thanks so much!
this came into my suggested at the exact right time, i read about the curly girl method, but really wanted to see it in action, as a girl with 2b/2c hair I needed this
I’m so excited for you Isabella! This took me back to when I started my curly hair journey. There’s a lot of (sometime conflicting) information out there and it’s all a little overwhelming in the beginning, but it’s also really fun and you will slowly learn what works or doesn’t for your curls. I definitely encourage you to continue the CGM, you have, without a doubt, wavy hair and I know it will become more beautiful than you’ve ever expected! After your curls have reached their peak, you will become a lot more comfortable using silicones, sulfates and heat because you will know how your curls work, but def stick to cgm for now. And keep us updated, I love your videos! 💕
When your hair is dry- don't be afraid to shake out that gel cast! First, when you scrunch in gel, make sure you're going all the way up to the roots of your hair, and then when you scrunch it out do the same! Then-- don't be afraid to put our hands underneath your hair and shake out the hair near the scalp to get rid of any weird shapes. This will also frizz your hair a bit... but that frizz IS where your volume comes from!!
I’ve had the exact same type of hair as yours for over 20 years. It honestly just becomes a form of acceptance. I love the methods you used. I use those also except if I want my hair presentable going out or look smooth pretty. I actually have to run a wand over just the top portion of my head to give the outer frizz definition waves. Not all the time but it does look a lot better and easier than straightening or curling all the hair. Just a messy wave look is really pretty. You’ve got beautiful hair enjoy while you’re young sweetie. 🙏🏻😊❤️
Hey girl! just a tip, curly hair can be very dry so I definitely recommend getting a leave-in conditioner to keep your hair shiny and your curls more defined! :)
when you diffuse your hair, focus your roots first (instead of focusing on the mids/ends). i have a similar hair texture to you (thicc 2b waves) i hover my hair dryer with diffuser over the roots first and then focus the ends. you can also try finger coiling. and see if that makes your waves a little more defined :)
Wow she is taking it so well. I am such a dilemma: when I had pin straight hair I wanted wavy/curly hair and now my hair transitioned into a wavy phase and now I think I look too puffy and freezy!!!
I always had straight hair and once i got into puberty my hair started being poofy and messy i hated it, but it just turned out that it was creating curls. i did not use any products for curly hair what so ever, my hair did everything by itself and now i have reallyyyyyy curly hair. And i started to like it the way it is. we have similar hair stories 🤷♀️🤷♀️
I would love to have my curls back. As a toddler I had ringlets. The older I got the longer my hair got, my hair would be straight at the top and loose ringlets at the bottom. And then they were gone. Puberty hit, I cut my hair to shoulder length and hello my hair got wavy. It might have been curly had I known what to do. At some point it was straight again. Then I got pregnant. My hair started behaving badly, as in frizzy wavy. I miscarried and there was my straight hair again. Now I'm 27 and have a almost 1 year old. Straight, slightly wavy, no frizz and ringlets at the back of my neck and around my ears. How is it even possible to have ringlets and straight hair...?! What do you guys think could I have curly hair and that my hair didn't get the 'memo'? I seriously have a thing for curly hair it is absolutely lovely.
The bald part is not from DevaCurl. I still use it and my hair is perfect. But there is no one size fits all product so find the products that work for you. For me DevaCurl is the only brand that works.
Lisa Manolis Reborn Mom it’s not every bottle but there was one specific product that really took a toll on multiple curly girls’ hair and it pretty much acted like a relaxer for some people too.
i love how smooth and funny your storytelling is with all the gifs and stuff and how easy absorbing all this information becomes, such a pleasure to watch your videos
Stunning! Embracing your natural hair and curly wave is such a rewarding experience. So fun to play around with products, deep conditioners and styling techniques. So excited to see your transformation!
ummm dont know about everyone but i have a curly hair and this is my hair routine... 1. shampoo 2. conditioner 3. dry itself with towel (no scrunching or whatever) 4. comb while it's still wet (not dripping wet) 5. then let it airdry (never used a blower to dry it except in cases when i'm at a hair salon lol) and that's it.. dont know if it works on others.
I used to do it just like this but I got sick of the tangles and fairy knots so I started using CG products and my hair became more manageable but my curls went flat. I would always comb in the shower while conditioning and recently clumps started forming so I gave my curls another try. I cowash, comb, rinse, apply just enough conditioner to get the same slip when I comb again and then I add my gel and gently scrunch the water out of my clumps. I use a T-shirt micro plop and then I diffuse until 70% dry. I then apply a mix of water and gel gently over my hair and then scrunch that in and diffuse until totally dry. I get amazing volume and curl definition without the tangled mess I used to have. 💕➿
I remember telling you you’re ruining your hair and NEVER ever wanted to offend you. I’m glad you decided to try this again and love your wavy hair, believe me and other people... you look so great with waves :) ❤️

Oh my god yes yes finally a person with common sense
Waves are (very) loose curls
I mean it can be her hair and her words all she wants, but if she calls herself bald despite growing hair this long, we don't have to say "she's bald. Her hair. Her words. Her rules. _Deal with it_ " like some generic sports commercial
I agree that the “curly” spectrum usually refers to the whole spectrum of texture, from the loosest waves to the tightest coils. So in that way, waves are definitely curls. However, there is a reason for the distinctions between straight to wavy to curly to coily or kinky, and I hope most people were just trying to inform. Waves are curls, loose curls! But they are loose, and I’m not offended by anyone trying to differentiate or make spaces for kinky, coily, more Afro-like curls as well as the looser waves and everything in-between by calling them different things to support specific spaces for all curls.
i never understood why wavy haired people find being called wavy so insulting. stop trying to be something youre not, youre wavy and thats ok

Claira Williams very true
I agree the microfiber towel made my hair puffy and frizzy
In general, the shorter your hair, the more curl it will have. When it is longer, the weight of your hair pulls the curl down. I suggest never ever using a brush. Finger combing is best, but if you really feel you need a comb, buy one with very wide spaces and hefty teeth. It is less likely to pull on your hair. Wishing you well.

Wavy hair is literally apart of the curly spectrum. So it’s not wrong but just more precise to call her hair Wavy. :^)
Can you comb your hair after you shower???
Biki i have curly hair too. i have to brush it when i get out the shower otherwise it’ll go frizzy, it honestly depends on ur hair type x

Taylor honestly does have the perfect waves. I also watch her videos.

What is your routine?
Sorry for the length but I'm glad to see you've been going for the curly girl method, hopefully one of these tips is somewhat helpful!
do you put products in before you plop?
Anika yes you do
@@clara-vp5ve thank u
@@anika5094 You can put in a leave in conditioner or something before you plop (or after), but any mousse or gel should go in after you plop. This is because you're supposed to 'rake' leave in through your hair, but with a gel or mousse you need to scrunch your hair up to help the curl structure and plopping after gel would break up the curls
Your front strands tip...I have to try it!!

That’s funny how shopping online for you, it says “add to basket” but for Americans, it’s usually “add to cart”

i have a few tips as a curly girl myself: 1.the micro fiber isn’t used to really dry... first add your products while your hair is SOAKING WET then put the micro fiber towel on to absorb excess moisture. 2. when defusing dry it first to set the gel then use it to scrunch your hair then go in with your hands and
a pick 3. use a denmin brush for max definition 4. use a bonnet or silk pillow case for less frizz. 5. don’t wash your hair often bc it’s going to keep getting oilier. oils are good but you need to basically train your hair. 6. don’t touch it so much bc it will get frizzy. 7. wash and style UPSIDE DOWN for volume.
XxsarahxX she already uses a silk pillow and scrunchie and uses the inversion method while washing, and has stated that she washes her hair every 3-4 days, just thought I'd let you know but thanks for all the tips! Her curl type isn’t right for the denman hair brush. More for 3C and on.
Morgan jeffries exactly what i was gonna say. The brush is more for thick, very coily curls. I myself have curlier hair than hers but its very thin so id i (or she) used the brush it would just break the curls
Could you explain step 2 a bit more,
@@yourlocalstudent5855 when you start drying your hair with a fan you should first dry the roots but not touch them, so dry it from a distance, then dry the rest of the hair by bringing you hair to the scalp with the head of the fan(the poky thing addition) but dont keep the head of the fan to long on your scalp becouse it t will run you pattern :)

i think that your hair is just naturally wavy so there’s no need to spend so much money and diffusers and products and stuff bc it probably won’t make your hair proper curly. idk jus my opinion :)

As A hairstylist with Curly hair my routine goes something like this:
Wash & Conditon with Aveda Cherry Almond shampoo & Conditoner
Leave some conditoner In my hair.

Hedgie58921 never put gel in your roots
Omg I literally can't get over how GORGEOUS she is!!
aw thank you x
I'm so happy you're embracing your wavy hair it looks so good on you!
I would recommend using a leave in conditioner after showering. It makes a big difference to me :)
Lexi Plexi can you use a leave in conditioner then still apply product and diffuse your hair?
Lexi Plexi yes! I have type 2 hair (I have all types of waves and ringlets throughout). I “rake” it through my hair then scrunch with the gel 😊
You got me with that DevaCurl until you put in Ayesha’s video. 😂😅
Wow she is taking it so well. I am such a dilemma: when I had pin straight hair I wanted wavy/curly hair and now my hair transitioned into a wavy phase and now I think I look too puffy and freezy!!!
Dont brush while dry
I knooooow same thing happened to me, all my childhood I wanted wavy hair and now it's changing and I really don't want it to ☹
try the log (leave-in conditioner, oil, and gel) method after you wash it. it should really keep the frizz at bay.
I have straight hair in the front, curly in the back, so frustrating.
same!!!! why tf is it like that
I have ringlets at the front, and flat as a pancake at the back 😡
Kate Steventon me too!! I have a perfect curls in the front then in the back it gets flat/wavy.
Me too!! Like I literally don’t know how to fix it!!
My top hair is straight and fine, my bottom hair is coarse and curly. How do I even work on that?!
Finally someone who has the same issue as me. I have been trying to revive my hair for so long
My hair is also transitioning from straight to wavy and I'm so excited because I've always wanted curly hair and now I have that chance!
@@-Annn- hormones really mess with hair texture. Have you tried CGM?
girrrrllll i stopped everything that i was doing to watch this! loads of love from brazil ♥️
btw...YOUR HAIR IS PERFECT!
From Brazil as well 🇧🇷❤️ much love
GIRLLLLL your production value is through the roof, this is so engaging
Girl.. those beach waves are GORGEOUS on you! I'm so happy you gave it another try ❤️
Everybody shaming devacurl and im overhere like : *tf is that* ?
Lots of Budgies a hair brand for curly hair that got suuuper popular but then turned out to make ppl go f*cking bald sadly
Nyquil Answagdelrama and I oop
The bald part is not from DevaCurl. I still use it and my hair is perfect. But there is no one size fits all product so find the products that work for you. For me DevaCurl is the only brand that works.
Lisa Manolis Reborn Mom it’s not every bottle but there was one specific product that really took a toll on multiple curly girls’ hair and it pretty much acted like a relaxer for some people too.
@@nyquilanswagdelrama1182 oof🥵
i love how smooth and funny your storytelling is with all the gifs and stuff and how easy absorbing all this information becomes, such a pleasure to watch your videos
Who knew you could transition from a texture to another, this so interesting. I love your hair btw 🙌🏾❤ great video
Try using the not your mother’s curl talk line I really recommend it.
Stunning! Embracing your natural hair and curly wave is such a rewarding experience. So fun to play around with products, deep conditioners and styling techniques. So excited to see your transformation!
ummm dont know about everyone but i have a curly hair and this is my hair routine...
1. shampoo
2. conditioner
3. dry itself with towel (no scrunching or whatever)
4. comb while it's still wet (not dripping wet)
5. then let it airdry (never used a blower to dry it except in cases when i'm at a hair salon lol)
and that's it.. dont know if it works on others.
totally same sis
