I've noticed between this and your S-Hard run that you go for simpler setups/combos on the 4-player stage, is that because it would take too much time to force all of them retire as opposed to clearing out the viruses instead? Just curious, been thinking about possibly running this game at some point (Still need to practice a lot though I am nowhere near this good haha)
It is not easy to kill all of your opponents in four-player mode. If that strategy works, your time will be faster, but the success rate is too low. I don't think there's much point in having that adventure, since there are other areas where the current record can be improved.
Incredible! Also I've never noticed before but the octopus on stage 5 is different in different versions of the game? On my U.S. cart he's a light blue color.

It’s to make the octopus in the Japanese version look more like an Asian octopus I think…
