I'm a Luthier at Bourgeois, great reviews! You wouldn't believe the man hours to each guitar. Mike does the fretwork he's been doing only fretwork for years. His skills are amazing to watch!
Just purchased a Bourgeois DS model 12 fret slotted headstock Adirondack aged tone torrified top and sinker mahogany back and sides. Incredible heirloom guitar. I am fortunate to have several Martin and Santa Cruz guitars, as well as a Collings and a few Yairi guitars. The Biurgeois is definitely a keeper.
I played one of their smaller models maybe o or oo ?...it was perhaps the best sounding guitar I've ever played and I have been playing guitar for some 60 years as a professional, educator, music store owner. This video doesn't begin to do these guitars justice (sound not the player)...unfortunately I don't have 4 or 5 thousand to spend..... they are amazing instruments. Totally blow new martains , gibsons, and Taylor's out of the game... ve
Thanks guys for leaving me to my own devices in your acoustic room...and of course, I left with a Bourgeois! 😃 LDBO 14 AT Custom, Curly Maple back & sides, it was a great afternoon!
This video blew me away!! STUNNING guitars, FABULOUS playing, EXPERTLY broadcast specs. and details. Congratulations guys. Guitar Village you're the best. ♥️
I’m lucky enough to own a Bourgeois OM-150 with an Adirondack top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides that I purchased about 10 years ago. I’ve got a couple other acoustics of similar caliber, but if I were to keep one it would be the OM-150. I think it was primarily built by Dana considering the model. It has zircote binding and a really cool back with a streak of sapwood down the middle. Rings like a bell!

Every Bourgeois I've heard (in videos, 1 in person) sound beautiful

Nice video. You should say « the treble side is scalloped » though.
Over priced 🤡
They are a great value used

Thanks so much! 🎸
Absolutely gorgeous guitars, of course, and, as a bonus, you guys managed to impart a lot of useful knowledge while demonstrating them.

These guitars sound great playing things other than blues.
