t's really unfortunate how pycharm defaults to the virtual env. I remembered in second video of yours (Python and pycharm installation) you've mentioned the concern where it asks you to create the project once finished installing. I fall into that trap and created a new project in 'venv' and got crazy why pip install does not work. Cheers to Harry...well done and good job. This video saved me from hours of craziness...!!!

sir i am facing issue regarding packages actually i installed pycham and makes some projects and after some days i uninstalled it form my pc and also all the files related to it and now i installed it again and my packages is not visible and there is line which is coming in the corner in yellow " NON ZERO EXIT CODE -1" can u please help me
I also had the virtual environment created and had the same error, so i deleted that venv and changed it to existing interpreter, but immediately the pycharm made me continuously install python file. I did install it but it kept on giving a dialog box to install it repeatedly. Then i cancelled the installation but then it showed that SDK registration failed. This scenario continued for two more days but i couldn't find a solution. Being frustrated uninstalled both python and pycharm then reinstalled them once again and did exactly as you said in this video while setting up pycharm but still this problem continues and it still shows "ImportError: DLL load failed while importing _path: The specified module could not be found." Whereas i have installed the module, namely "matplotlib and numpy". Plz help me solve this issue.
Actually just as i said i have installed both the packages but when i use a program which has general packages and numpy operators in it, the program runs fine but the only problem is that when i am using matplotlib this error shows itself. Whereas i have installed both the packages.
