I love pronovias gowns once they are altered to fit really well. They are definitely for the bride going for formal understated elegance. It’s a very specific vibe. But their materials they use *chefs kiss*. They do structure well.

Hello! How long ago did you receive the proposal? I'm just curious how people in Canada usually get married. In our country it takes in general 6 month from a proposal till the actual wedding. Interesting to learn about cultural differences)
It might be similar in Canada but in the U.S. I know most people if they want a venue and certain vendors, those businesses are booked out at least a year in advance. Some people go to the courthouse sooner to be official and then throw the wedding event.

It was a Disney Weddings showcase day the day we went - I had no clue lol but when they got there the Disney team had a booth & all the bridal stylists were wearing ears
The trouble was how would you be able to choose THE DRESS you looked beautiful in all the dresses except some of the second last shop. They had a weird shape.

What I don’t get is why are all the dresses these days half up the body? They look lovely don’t get me wrong but why are dresses with coverage and sleeves less of a thing now? All styles are beautiful and not every bride wants a strapless/strap style.
I tried on dresses I liked the style of, there’s plenty of more modest sleeved dresses out there but that wasn’t what I wanted! Also if you watch the full video I do try on lots of different styles, sleeves, etc.
For the experience and shopping fun lol. theres so many designers that aren’t carried in Toronto/Canada and I wanted to be able to experience dress shopping in NYC with my mom and friend. Not everything has to accomplish something but can be simply for the joy or the experience
Because I’ve been with my partner for 9 years and everyone is on a different timeline. If I know I’m with my life partner why wait to start our lives together??
