I've been watching your videos for ages but I had no idea you did longer videos like this until I saw your short video telling us that you do, so this is the first one I've ever watched. I really enjoyed it, I'm also a Brit and had only had a couple of the things you ate including the laffy taffy which I absolutely love, especially the banana one (so yummy!!), and those sea creature jellies, which are exactly the same as some Ghostbusters ones I used to love when I was a kid. Looking forward to watching more of your longer videos now and the shorts as always, I worked in retail for over 20 years so these always make me laugh as they're so true to life 😄😄😄
My late wife was American. I am British. She taught me how to cook American food. One American food that is strange to us is a grilled cheese sandwich. It sounds like it is a toasted cheese sandwich, but it is actually a fried cheese sandwich. A lot of meals add sweet and savoury together. Like pancakes or waffles, served with maple syrup, bacon, eggs or even links (sausages). Or French toast, (eggy bread), they will have that with sugar or syrup, and sometimes bacon. This is not as bad as it sounds, it tastes like an egg custard tart. Although I can do the sweet and savoury, and it is a lot nicer than it sounds, I still prefer to keep sweet and savoury sweet most of the time.
Did you ever try American cereal? I don’t know how it is in the UK, but I have family in Poland and their cereal is way too dry and has less flavors than ours. I am so happy that you tried and enjoyed most American food! 😀
Pizza flavor blasted Goldfish are superior to the cheddar ones. FWIW, breakfast should be a bacon, egg and cheese on a low-quality crossaint or supermarket bagel. And, of course, as was mentioned in other comments, drain the pasta, melt 2 TB of butter, add the cheese powder and just enough milk to make a sauce and stir the pasta in it. For an added bonus, drop a couple hot dogs in the water with 3 minutes left on the timer. When drained, slice them back into the pot with the pasta and cheese sauce.
