Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived on Monday in Guinea’s capital, Conakry, for an official visit. The French news agency reports it is the first leg of a tour aimed at shoring up Moscow’s influence in Africa. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa Sunday called for his country’s political parties to find “common ground” to form the first national coalition government.
