- In today's Farming Simulator 17 time lapse video, which is set in the 4x map of Rattlesnake Valley-
Our cows are almost out of hay. The sheep have a few bales left, but we're moving to a system of feeding the sheep fresh grass rather than hay so we don't need to stockpile any for them. The cows will still need some for their TMR though, so today we're going to start making a large amount of hay so that we have plenty to keep us going for a few weeks. Of course, that means we've got to fight with the unusual properties of the grass in our valley!

Here in the states we ted grass that's in one swath just sayin it can be done. Then you could sell the mowers for the tractor. But still an awesome video

Frithgar if you want the big m to do a spread you push left shift y and it works hope you read this
I have found that I can fertilize fields 3 times and later they will be shown as not being fertilized at all.

Maybe you should try ploughing and re seeding the grass field as that realistic also it may work with Tedder then plus you can fertiliser it then

with the Big M use the mouse buttons to make it so it doesn't swath it moves the flaps behind the mower
Updated version has removed that option as it was glitchy

There was also an issue with one of the updates, so the author said he'd take it out completely until he could find a workaround. Would be nice if we could have it back though, the extra width would help with making the hay!

the remix of the song shine was not bad on dubstep songs i usually prefer the original other than ncs release of faded and bass boosted versions of dubstep makes any dubstep song better!
You can better use the kuhn swather from the dlc becouse than you can drop it to the side and put the other side on the same row than you have a 18 meter swath. But I LOVE your timelapses.

Can only tedder the grass when traveling north due to a bug with the map, which would make it very difficult to do a follow me train
Frithgar oh I see, I was very confused further into the video
Would turning the grass at a 45 degree angle work? ie. Going north-west one pass and south-east the other. I haven't tried it myself just a thought because then no matter which way you are going you have one direction that is supposed to work. Those pallets you found were probably old ones used by a company that shipped things overseas. I used to work for a company that shipped Kamut to Europe and we sometimes had pallets like that.
What mod lets you break open bales?
This Krone Big M has a hitch on the shop at misc and it helps you

frithgar yo make the best timelapse and i was wondering if you could make a one off timelapse of euro truck sim 2 to see if it might be cool do do.
I'm planning to do two episodes after we finish this map, before we start the Sandy Bay map, kind of take a traveling work/holiday around Europe before we get back to farming!

Why when you were turning grass were you going down row turning then just drive to the other side?
4x maps are all broken, you can only drive in one direction to turn hay, doesn't work properly going the other way

Why did you go always to the another end off the field when you tedded the grass
Becouse it's a glitch and in that map you can't ted grass when you're going south, You only can when you're going north.

Why do you have to drive the tractor backwards while cutting the grass ? :O
You don't have to, however when you turn sharp corners with one on the front and two on the back, you miss little strips between the mowers as they move sideways. This doesn't happen with going backwards as the mowers are joined close together

You are going to fast with the windrower that's why that is spilling hay
sil eppinga ya I agree either to fast or it could be either that the windrower is a beta mod or that the grass hasn't grow fully and there isn't enough to pick up as it's so little (which I don't think but could be) or it could be all those reasons!
There is an issue on the map with windrowers and they leave patches regardless of speed. I thought it might be that one, but I've been told by other players that they have also had problems with other windrowers :(

i love timelapses but that map has to many problems....you should consider moving your farm anywhere else :)
There are some issues, but most of them we're finding ways around. That being said, I've not ruled out leaving quite a bit earlier than the last few series so that we can have something with less problems
yes you have found way to solve problem, but look at this way, for time you needed to turn that grass and row it you could collect it...it woould be more effective and more entertaing for you as a player and for me as a viewer. i dont know if other have my opinnion byt im just telling you the way i think. i hope that okay :D but with or without issues you are still making great videos keep it up
