    Small correction though - kangaroos aren't born into the pouch, they are born out of the cloaca and have to climb up the mother and into the pouch while they're in their tiny larva-esque state. It's an insane design concept that frankly should have never survived evolution.

      Exactly!
      As I said in my own comment, this and @zefrank1 are the future of teaching! The _sooner_ our education system realizes this, the *_more educated_* our society can and will become! 🤘
      _[in fairness, Ze Frank's _*_has_*_ gotten recognized and he's producing edited cuts now; but I'm hoping those are for sub-Highschool use, as leaving in the "adult" content for 10th Grade and over, is only going to make students want to pay closer attention, if you ask me! (we all already use such language at that age _*_anyways_*_ so who cares!)]_

    • @DUKE_of_RAMBLE
      @DUKE_of_RAMBLE ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Dom It's admittedly been a couple decades since I graduated HS, so... maybe classes are more progressive and less reserved about what constitutes as being """inappropriate language not fit for teachers to use"""...? 🤷‍♂️
      Because had students came back and gleefully quoted something their teacher said that they found educational, yet funny, like Maya had used frequently... They'd have either been put on probationary leave, or fired.
      I had a few teachers who were like Maya, but pretty sure they had tenure.
      And it's not that they used boundary pushing language due to job security and not giving a shit. They used it because they were respecting us as young-adults, and knew full-will that WE used that language every single day when amongst friends.
      In other words, they were making class more like a relaxing place amongst friends, than a boring hour with an uptight adult with an authority complex.
      To no surprise, it was the teachers who taught Shop and Auto; however, my Senior year English teacher also was laid-back in terms of language use (heh no pun intended).
      I always sucked in English class (overall I was a C-avg student), but wouldn't you know it... I had a B+ _(or higher?)_ in his class!

    Gotta say, this is such a solid education format. One might argue that chat was goofing around but the fact is they stayed engaged. Because the teacher just rolled with it, knew the lingo/culture, and focused on the *getting things learned* and even answered questions that I feel many in-class teachers would discipline. I'm just so impressed. I really, really hope to see more of this format in the future, from many educators.

    What crazy good teaching skills. Interacting with chat but not getting distracted and really good drawings. Amazing, thanks :)

    One horrifying thing about baculums is that they represent a paleontological record of when long term planning abilities evolved. As humans advanced in intelligence we realized that if you just snap another dude's baculum then you no longer have to compete on evolutionary fitness grounds because they now can't reproduce for the next few months at best. So losing the bone r bone removes your one greatest weakness because it is now nigh unbreakable.
