  • From The Simpsons episode "Boy-Scoutz 'N the Hood" (S05E08), captured from Channel 4 on November 5, 2023.
When TCFTV became 20th Television in 1992, that logo was used on the end of the Simpsons on its first run airings. This episode would've been one such example of where that occurred, using the 1992 variant of the logo. Later episodes would've used the 1994 variant until late Season 6, when 20th Century Fox Television was revived.

I never knew that TCFTV became 20th Television and that it was revived. It's weird to think about this because I always thought that when 20th Television started, it just co-existed with 20th Century Fox Television

Some shows were still using the TCFTV name (using the 1989 logo) in 1993 but throughout 1994 it was just 20th Television.

Under Rupert Murdoch and later Disney, the 20th Century Fox Television & 20th Television names were used interchangeably:
*In 1989, 20th Century Fox Television was renamed to 20th Television. Although the former name was used on-screen until 1992, when the latter name was finally adopted on-screen.
*In 1994; 20th Television was split into 2 companies, which were 20th Century Fox Television (Television Production) & 20th Television (Television Distribution) respectively.
*Fast forward to 2020 and the Takeover of 21st Century Fox by Disney, to which they decide to fold 20th Television into Disney Entertainment Distribution...and rebrand 20th Century Fox Television to 20th Television (recycling the name for the 3rd time).
20th Television (Mark III) would then go on to absorb Touchstone Television (Mark II), which was a rebranded Fox21 Television Studios.
