Damnit Eastward I haven't felt this empty since the ending of Gurren Lagann and Samurai Jack. Hero saves everyone, and loses it all in the end. I hope new Sam accepts John as a friend at least.
Was not expecting the game to be that depressing. I mean I had a feeling it was going to be sad but not this level of sad. One of the few games to make me cry. Sam is one of my favorite video characters of all-time, why Pixpil?😭
The boss music just touches my soul. I just love boss music that sound a bit foreboding at first then switches to a more motivating/uplifting tone The final boss music just says "you've made it to the final battle. It's all or nothing now. Good luck!"
I loved the protag duo so much, I don't even care if the DLC answers any of the lingering questions that remained after the game's ending or not, I just want to see them lead the simple, happy life they always deserved but were never given the chance of having, and hopefully that happiness also extends to other members of the cast who also deserved better (*cough*IsabelandAlva*cough*)
The first 5 hours were great, the 10 after that were good, but the story never really made sense in the end. It’s so annoying tbh I really was so hooked at the start but it fell flat
i made a call befor this game came out that it be big and i was right who knows what they will do next i did ask the devs if they make more and they said they add some updates on the progress and keep the rest hidden on what they will do in the future of eastward meaning will be seeing more of them in the future just wait and see im calling it again

Honestly didn't really like this game very much. It did a good job at keep me engaged but just left me disappointed. I mean definitely wasn't a bad game but nothing really to write home about that much
i dont know why but i cant defeat the final boss because somehow when i change the attack to break the barrier it takes like 3 times as long as in this video (i dont have any type of lag)
Sam sacrifice herself to defeat mother, consequences is sam killing herself. John knew he can't save her but somehow he believe he will meet sam again. And they did. Sam probably reborn again

Every single moment of the first half of the game is DIALOGUE. Constant stopping to read. Damn dude, i just couldnt stand it anymore. Actions speak loudet than words but i guess we gotta put a sagas worth of words in the first 2 hours
Yeah it really wasn't that good but i'm glad a played it. I played it on xbox game pass, not in a million years would i have actually bought this game.
This game was amazing…up until the end. What an utterly awful ending. Seriously, if you just cut this scene out of the game and wrote in your own happy ending (Sam and John return to New Dam City, maybe Greenberg gets restored) it’d be a 9/10 or 10/10. But instead we get all the beautiful relationships in the game destroyed. Dunno why the devs felt it needed to be this dark and tragic.

I feel like that's what the DLC gonna be, a way for us to live as a true happy ending without losing everyone we have a care about.
John is the very definition of a Knight. He protects his princess, but also believes in her choices. I think everyone felt that at 11:15

Pretty sure they had to change a bunch at the end. The Demi was VERY different.

You need to charge immediatly after hitting last fireball. That way you'll charge the attack in time.
Here in video took food that reduces charge time

They're just trying to be edgy like mother 3 devs were. This game dragged on and was filled with endless boring and pointless dialogue.

It isn't a rhythm fight you have to predict the final bosses movement before it bears the living daylights out of you

The gameplay was just pretty missleading. You don't have to hit the orbs back. You can just dodge them. Makes it much much easier.
